I was a bit surprise to see this.

Lampard, Frank 86.7 941

It's what he does best. Cracking player at keeping the midfield moving.

I don't care what Swiss says. :p

I suppose when your entire game is standing between your penalty area and the centre circle and playing non threatening 10 yard passes, high accuracy is likely to result.

I just didn't expect him to see that much of the ball.

Swansea players as the top two passers in the league? Judging by the actual League table, I'd say this passing lark is clearly over rated.

That's a joke, before any of Ollie or Pinchy's lot try to lynch me...

Oh FFS wouldn't we have liked to have someone who can pass 10 yards to their own team last season? Seems to have been something we have lacked since we were in the Premiership. He was a brilliant signing at the time but it appears more by luck than judgement the way we used him. when you look at the company he is keeping in that list its embarrasing that he could have been ours had we used him properly and not just used our midfield as a viewing gallery in a game of hoof tennis.

Who was it that signed him anyway?

Well, Britton ain't doing that well, given he's actually warming the bench.

I'm sure what he does is vital to a team like Swansea, but it wasn't any good for us. You have to have someone who creates or scores goals, and Britton does neither with any regularity.

Anyway, I still maintain that the vast majority of passes Britton makes don't amount to much. It's like the centre backs passing to each other 10 yards further up the pitch.

Blackwell. Britton said that Blackwell was probably the major reason he signed for us, then he was sacked only a few weeks later! No wonder it didn't work out for the lad.

Aye, considering he was only in a Blackwell side for three games I'd say that was a little harsh!

might as well top the u.s billboard charts for all the relevance it has to us

He was a type of player we had no space to use IMHO. After watching him on Sky over Xmas I was struck by just how little he did. Call me old fashioned, but any player representing a team playing in white during the winter months should not leave the pitch at half time still spotless.
