Useless, talentless oaf

For fucks sake, how old are you fuckers? Seriously, there were shit performances all over the pitch today but still you have to gob off about one player? You're like a bunch of school girls picking on the new lass, on and fucking on, thread after fucking thread.

Sander Berge came with more fanfare than McBurnie but he's a lovely lad, sublime touch and scored a goal or two so he's one of our own. The fact that he's a lazy, slack tackling, no heading cowardly cunt doesn't matter, you fuckers have your scapegoat so fill your fucking boots.

Can't believe how fucking soft our lot are now, give me 300 from the 70's over 20'000 of you fucking hoorays.
Oh, he’s not the only one. Ben Davies is a liability. Berge has no stomach for a fight when we are not playing well.

But 40 games without a goal is crossing the rubicon. I don’t want to see if on the field for us again. He will no doubt be injured again but if he’s not, Jebbison up front on Monday, or 5-5-0 with Ndiaye. We will not miss him.

Did you watch the game?? When a £20m player can't control a simple ball falling out of the air fans have the right to say how shit he was, he's a shocking player and an absolute embarrassment to the club

P.s change your profile picture it makes me feel sick

Yep, unfortunately I saw the game. McBurnie was poor, didn't cost us two goals like another player who was even more gash but hey, this is the daily McBurnie thread so damn me for mentioning that.

As to the profile pic, if a simple picture makes you feel sick, I suggest you become 'Sober Blade' as the drink appears to be fucking you up.

JUST SAY NO 🍻🍻🍻

I’m guessing that at 4:42am your judgement was somewhat clouded by the ale, hopefully the hangover wasn’t too bad.

firstly, I agree the threads are a bit overkill

however, the sentiment cannot really be argued, and you even answered your own question

“Sander Berge came with more fanfare than McBurnie but he's a lovely lad, sublime touch and scored a goal or two so he's one of our own“

the problem with McB is he’s the exact opposite of your description, doesnt create a positive image of himself, flails around and doesn’t contribute much and hasn’t scored all season.

his biggest problem is he isn’t scoring, which for a £20m £20 grand a week striker is indeed a big problem.

I honestly don’t think theres an agenda against him, think about Ched, was up for RAPE, yet due to the goals he was scoring he was lauded.

he is been judged purely on the onfield contribution, which isn’t good enough at the moment

Some judge him on attitude, some on ability but for me, the majority are just a bunch of insecure little lambs, piling in with the crowd because he's an easy target.

Personally I don't mind his antics, young bloke, lots of cash and is living the dream. On the pitch he's been a huge disappointment, playing in a team often bereft of creating chances he's not been the barnstorming player I thought we were signing. Still hoping but not expecting, as the team looks more knackered every game, so does he.

Accuse people of gobbling off about a player with a tirade of childish insults then call then proceed to gob off about a player using more childish insults is rather hypocritical, don’t you think?

'Gobbling off' 🙊🙊🙊

You should see the size of his foot, managers words.
Really distressing interview.
No not the size of his foot.
The fact Heckingbottom STILL wants to have him available for this season.
WTF are they 'thinking'?????
We got 3 wins in the last five games last season.
All without 'recognized' strikers.
If we had done that this we may have been in the playoffs.
We still can be.
But FFS don't totally demoralize us all by saying this lazy, useless bag of shite is a 'recognized' striker and he is going to be playing unwell and unfit, as he has been the three years he has been here.

It's clear to me that he's been playing through injuries. When the lad's fit he puts in a shift, as he did in the previous couple of matches before Friday's. His closing down was much better in those games and he ran himself into the ground.
On Friday, as with some previous appearances, his closing down was non-existent and he ambled around like he was having a kick-about in the park - a tell-tale sign that he wasn't fit. Then he picked up a further injury to his foot, and from that point on he may as well have not been on the pitch.
The critisism should lie with Hecky for even starting him as he clearly wasn't fit, and I was astonished that he persisted with him for as long as he did. By playing him when not 100% he risked further injury, as proved to be the case, and I doubt we'll see Oli again this season. Some people will say "so what, he's shit anyway". But I think a fully fit McB is a half decent player to have around.
If he's guilty of anything it's wanting to play when clearly not fit.
And of being a bit fragile!
Why Hecky would pick a 50% fit Oli McBurnie over Jebbo, Osula or Ndiaye, only he knows.

He got injured during the game.

He got injured during the game.
I'm saying I think he was injured before the game too, as was clear from his inability to run at full pelt from minute one.
The foot injury happened near the touchline during the first half, yes.

I don't think this stands up too well. Whilst this is yet another thread dedicated to McBurnie, I've also seen threads on Baldock, Norwood, Hourihane, a lot of criticism for Osborn and Ben Davies in particular.

In other words, he's not being "singled out." I don't think there's a great vendetta. He's been poor for 2.5 years and cost us a bomb. We look totally toothless in attack and he's our striker. Game after game the opposition's strikers look better than him. It's disappointing.
But we have no other options right now, Jebbison isn't a viable alternative so we are where we are.

Your comparison with Berge is valid though. Playing like he doesn't want to scupper his chances of a summer exit, avoiding injury. Suspect he already has something agreed somewhere because he isn't playing to impress for a move.
Osula is an alternative and I think an excellent prospect for next season and beyond

I honestly can’t tell if he’s injured all of the time but he looked no more or less mobile than he does the rest of the time in the first 25 mins.

My Mrs went against QPR and her comment after 10 mins having never seen McBurnie before was “why is he running like he’s already ran a marathon, he’s only played 10 minutes?!”.

This is a regular thing, he always looks like he's blowing out of his arse 10 minutes in after doing a few slow jogs.

Neil shipperley used to get about the pitch better than him.and he must have been about 17 stone when playing for us

Jebbison his been mismanaged badly by us this season, he should have been in the team after he was recalled from Burton where he was on fire but instead we persisted with McBurnie
“On fire”

In league 1
Also not starting every game??
Not knocking the lad but for me,not ready or good enough

7 goals, won league 1 player if the month twice, burton fans loved him. He did way better than brewster or McBurnie would have done had they been on loan in league 1

Completely agree, Jebbison is miles off both being ready or remotely good enough for Championship level...reminds me of a Jonathan Forte at best.....could easily end up a John Cofie....
