I agree he gave us everything, but I’m sure we can all now agree that now we have seen his everything it is nowhere near good enough for us.

But puts a reyt shift in and gives us his everything so we can forgive him being a no 9 centre forward who cannot score? Or can we now agree he is a player who is restricting this team massively because he cannot score.

Couple of decent efforts, won plenty of flick ons, some decent link up play, thought he was MOM by a distance in fairness. Could be vital this last few weeks. And no, I'm not a McBurnie fan, just fair.

You could make a strong case for him as our MOTM today. Created two chances for MGW and gave him the ball before the penalty shout. Got into a couple of good positions too. I get why people have criticisms of him and many of them are legitimate but put the agenda to one side and you have to admit he played well.

I totally agree he gave his all today and put in a shift that people like to say. But he is quite clearly not good enough we can all see this now. I understand fans backing him to the hilt but they will even back him to the hilt at the detriment of the team. It’s crazy tbh.

I thought he did well today. We massively over-paid for him, but that's not his fault. I think he does his best when he's on the field and has improved of late. He plays his part in creating things and is valuable defensively. He's shown earlier in his career that he can score goals, and if he could add that back into his game, he'd be a real asset.

He’s not though, the two young lads would give us a better chance of nicking a goal. Not to mention Ndiaye. We need goals not just someone on who’s best asset is defensively.

I have been a big critic of his but I don’t want to slag him, I really feel sorry for him now because he is really working hard for the team but is just a bang average number 9 who cannot score. For instance you know that free shot he had in the first half on the edge of the box? Took a deflection and went over the bar, the deflection made it look like hard lines but I’ve just watched it now and it was straight down the middle of the goal into the keepers arms if no deflection. I’m sorry he’s just not good enough we need goals and no matter how much folk love him he is not the man to get them.
