He was scoring for fun at the back end of last season too .Released by Arsenal! I wonder why ? He is one of two Arsenal rejects the other one scored the winner against Wigan.
Both are 17 I think !

The other is Sydie Peck but I have a feeling we paid a nominal transfer fee for him (£150k maybe?). Peck has also been training with the first team so is clearly held in high regard.

Arsenal went through a period of restructuring their academy sides the other year and allowed some really good prospects to walk out the door. Greenwood to Leeds, Lankshear and Peck to us and Petrie to Swansea. Petrie and Peck in particular were very highly rated.

Got to be excited about a 17 year old banging in free kicks for the U23 age and a guy who has 6 in two games for the U18s.

Plenty of lads have had some really good scoring records for the juniors and then not made the cut at this sort of level. However yeah they look handy footballers hopefully they continue to kick on.
