He’s alright. I think he’s got a footballers brain, looks like he’s had a good footballing education from our academy. But, he’s raw, nervous, which is completely understandable. He’s in the team through injuries, I’m sure Hecky and co would blood him in if the pressure was off, but as it is we’re competing for a playoff place!

Think he was fine today, although possibly tempered by none of the back five having an outstanding game

He needs loaning out next season , no where near good enough imo !

For a lad his age to be holding his own in the championship in a position where experience and reading the game plays such a big role is massively to his credit.
He makes mistakes but he will continue to develop and he’s one of ours.

Agree, looks to be a player in the lad from today’s performance. Hope it works out for him, oh and us.

I think Barnsley’s game plan was to try and exploit him but he stood up to it today and helped us get the win. He can be happy with the experience he’s gained in these last few games and a good performance in his first home start in the league. Something to build on for next season where he should get regular game time on loan, preferably at a league club. For the run-in though we need our main defenders back.

Those stats speak to the game I saw. I thought he was excellent throughout. Not sure what everyone else wa seeeing.

He didn't look nervous at all. The only times I saw him give the ball away were when he was trying to break the lines with a pass. For a young lad to be fitting in at this level so quickly speaks volumes for his future.

He has had a rough baptism, but thought he was really good today. Not sure where all the criticism is coming from. Made a stack of key interventions defensively,he was brave and sought to challenge the Barnley players early and up the field, rather than backing off. He never looked comfortable on the ball, but got forward with a lot of energy all game.

Thought he played very well.

His best game yet.

He's obviously familiar with how we play because he was switched on enough to put the ball in if Berge didn't for the opener. Almost a shame it wasn't him.

He's probably saved us any need to follow up with Wisdom. Get Bash, Baldock back as well as Davies and he's a decent go to if we need it.

Good on him.

Speaks really well - clearly knows his own mind and doesn’t just give the stock footballer answers.

And I don’t think we’ve any right to expect him to do more than he’s doing at the moment. As others said, Barnsley stuck their bruiser up against him today, and he won the battle. He looks a bit better with each game.

Lad had a very good game today ,allso hes got character ,not a shrinking violet

I watched him in detail and never slag off our players.

Noticed how his physique and strength was a bit like a boy playing against men.
Also he never sprinted, looked tired and just jogged around. His body language didn't show confidence, he looked nervous.

However saying all this, his positional play was OK and he did a decent fill-in job (no big mistakes) so deserves credit.
He's no where near Basham's level but is one for the future, this is all great experience for him.

As mentioned above, we need to take into context that he's our 4th choice right back, so he's doing a great job helping the team.

He definitely wasn’t man of the match. First 30 minutes he struggled but improved as the game went on. Looked more composed during the second half. I worry about his height as a defender. He was a clear target for Barnsley, their tall striker played on him

I doubt anybody thinks he’s good enough to be first choice in the back line. He’s behind Basham, Davies and Goode. I’d imagine he will be loaned out again next season. This is the standard way in which we develop young players.

We were beaten first two games he came in, third game was a clean sheet and a draw, this game was a clean sheet and a win. He’s a kid and he’s doing OK. Surely nobody expected any more did they?

I saw a lad learning his trade caught out of position at times sitting to deep behind Egan and Robinson and someone who know a pass but couldn’t find one that reached his man
He isn’t a Centre half ( not yet anyway) more a right back wing back but either way he’s not ready for this level
Shocked he got mom but pleased for him

I've known ky since he was born , he wanted to go on loan a season ago but was prevented from doing so and has now been thrust into a promotion/play off battle in one of the most competitive leagues in the world , yes at times he will get caught out , and bullied , but he very rarely makes an unforced error which is more than can be said for his team mates , in an ideal world he isn't starting but remember this is a kid who has had relatively little competitive men's football and this is his first foray into professional men's football , and for me he's improving with every single game

He's probably 2 years away from being a proper championship central defender. He's a boy and looked it today against the lurch they had up front today.

He did OK but I'd be worried if he's starting in the back 3 next season if we don't go up. Think he needs a full season in L1 at a club where expectations are high to get used to that pressure of playing in front of expectant crowds. Somewhere like an Ipswich/Pompey or even Sunderland if they don't go up.

Potential is there but I still think he's a way to go.

Slightly unnecessary/patronising response.

An easy shout for MOTM today, well done Gordon
