McCabe steadied the ship I suppose. Made us relatively debt free and easier to sell. But as you say, anyone worth a quid was sold for it. The lack of foresight in keeping them for another year and trying to get promoted with them when clearly that value would only ever increase was frightening.

And don't get me started on selling James Beattie mid-season ffs. The most ridiculously stupid decision I can remember. I'd argue it was a deliberate ploy to make us not go up it was that ridiculous.
