MGW was poor but several were even worse.

He isn't the finished article.

He's great on his day and thankfully his day has been often this season.

But the flicks and tricks and dummies has their moment in some games and not others.

In a game where the ball was like a hot potato it needed the maturity to slow the game down, to pass it amongst the team and play sensible football.

We never managed that and he was as culpable as anyone.

We still looked a threat going forwards - Sharp just failing to find him in the first half and Hourihane not getting the ball high enough from the free kick example where on our day we could have had three by half time.

Back to Gibbs-White. He's still learning his trade. Patience is needed but he has to learn too.
