I know it looks like that but if you’re running next to someone and they get in front of you and slow/stop how do you avoid running into them?

I completely agree, he had hold of him and dived in, catching him. No malice and didn't get a challenge in but clumsy as fuck, was a pen. An absolutely wank pen mind you...

Why a perfect signing? He's no better than bogle and the stats prove that. Bogle has scored one goal less this season than spence has in his entire career.

Caused us problems all night , a very good player I wish we had him in our team .. for the pen he did what a lot of strikers do get in directly infront of your marker if you get free & any subsequent challenge is likely to bring a foul or pen .

I thought several times, he pushed off the defender with his hand and then used that momentum to propel himself forward. Cheating all day, but equally RND needs to be expecting that when the attacker gets goalside.

There’s a point where you can’t just lurch backwards and then fall over I agree.

But he was all over him and then runs into the back of him. If he’s got goal side of you it’s your decision whether to back off and stop or try and play the ball/put him off - he’s decided to do the latter.

I’d have given that 100% of the time.

Looked tricky and had some pace but he was also a diving cunt.

Had his shirt pulled from behind in the second half - but flung himself forwards onto the floor. Also chucked himself down two or three times at least with little or no contact.

In todays game it is a pen, get In front of the defender and slow down / stop so you force contact. Billy does it 3 or 4 times at least each game to get us up the pitch.

Shit ref yes, soft yes, Spence made the most of it yes, but he was clumsy as fuck and over committed from behind with Spence goal side. If it was MGW I'm sure you'd have been screaming for a pen mate.
