Had a text from my mate today saying Beattie was at shirecliffe. Looked on Bladesmad and they are saying the same. Anybody heard anything, or just more rumours? Could it be the replacement for Evans, giving him a month or so to get fit?

JB was indeed at Shirecliffe today.

The J.B. posts are really tedious . At this rate they will be going on until he draws his pension. May the next and only J.B. post tell us that he has signed for the Blades. No more bull shit please.

He was seem putting Alloys in the boot of his Range Rover on Eccy Road last week and Michael Brown was in the passenger seat. There you go Sirius, that proof enough for you.

I believe Lee Morris may also be making a comeback with us sometime soon.

he with us training the home site is reporting.

Ah At last an ITK poster. Thanks Bladesway I have so much more belief now and will sleep easier. The other passenger may have been Lee Baxter. Can you confirm this? Just the proof I was seeking;-

According to BBC text last Saturday, he was training with Bournemouth!!
He was training with Bournemouth but now he's training with us.

Tony Currie also seen at Bramall Lane...you heard it here first.
Now you're talking rubbish. I don't believe that for a minute.

I agree, though Lee Hendrie on £20,000 per week (that's ONE MILLION A YEAR!) was the greater fallacy, and that's before you get to Gary Naysmith. Good player, yes; but in the Championship you can't afford to pay Premier League wages to a left back.

How do you guys know the actual salary of a player (are they listed somewhere) or is it just a guess?

Should never have signed him in the first place, his wages were unsustainable.

No, I wish we had never signed him. He was shit for us and his record was bobbins. In fact we should never sign anyone good again. We should stick to bits and bobs players who will work hard to make up for their obvious lack of footballing talent. Its the Blades Way!

The Hendrie piece came from an article I read a while ago, it included clips of an interview with him where he said something along the lines that the United offer was too good to turn down, in the context that he had Premiership offers alongside it. I think there's an element of Football Manager in there too, I seem to recall having major issues shifting Hendrie and Naysmith off my wagebill :D

All-in-all, it's educated guesswork.
