Certain red I cringed when it happened thought there was some naughty fouls and niggles will have to manage that moving forward, their players especially 27 made a meal of it all game though. Genuinely think the players were frustrated. Ref was poor too, what a win when the chips are down never rule us out

I know a few others have said they have rated him so far (apart from todays challenge) but I haven't really been that impressed. I think Bash is much better of the 2 so far. Better on the ball, quicker, better distribution, more intelligent. I thought Goode was wasteful many times with the ball today. Many times he was pinging lofty aimless balls into the channel which were 15/20 yards away from MGW or sharp and just wasted possession after the team spent ages trying to win it back. to early for me to fully judge him yet but I on current showings a bit meh.

Not to spoil a great night but there have been other challenges in recent games that have made me cringe, George and Jack spring to mind, and Bash’s injury was both self-inflicted and unnecessary. But they received praise because they appeared to have got away with it.

We need to be smarter given our squad challenges.

Some of our fans are not very bright. Lording or writing off players after one or two appearances.
Expecting players just be able to fit into our system straight away.
It's not Football Manager.

Absolutely no excuse in the slightest, but with a referee that has a handle in the rest of the game, he’s probably less pumped/annoyed and doesn’t go in.

It was getting very tetchy and he’s probably thought a firm but ball winner to impress/stamp authority.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and that he got carried away with the frustration and wanted to get the fans more pumped up, but professional footballers have to be more measured and controlled than that. Missing him for 3 games is going to be a huge blow with Basham out too.

He’ll learn from this I’m sure.

He was a back up player at Brentford he doesn't get in infront of a fit basham Egan or jack Robinson (who's improved) so yes he's a back up player and I do believe he's limited yes he's an old fashioned win it kick it defender.
