Apologies if already discussed. After the final whistle and our players were coming to our end and I saw Billy Sharp looking angry with someone at the direction of the dugout and then Norwood walked straight towards the players tunnel. What was that about?

I didn't see it and I have no idea.

I've never been Norwood's biggest fan but today I thought he was excellent and changed the whole dynamic of the game

He was pissed off at being ‘rested’ as with him in the team we would have been more fluid and joined up .

You see , this guys won three promotions from the championship and knows that you don’t fk about ‘resting’ your top players when you have a chance ti beat those around you who might get in your way

Only a hunch

Norwood was ok when he came on - he simply has to accept that squad rotation will happen with so many games.

Berge was OK as the quarterback today.

I expect Norwood and Hourihane v Hull City on Tuesday and N'diaye back in.

We've not lost - we move on - plenty of games and 9 points in the next 3 home games will change the entire mood of our fans.

Hull, Swansea and Blackburn - one at a time.............plenty of time.

UTB

If he’s in a strop because he didn’t start, I take that as a positive. Yes, he has to play the role required of the manager, but if he has the desire to be out there then great!

Though it’s probably as Hillsboro Blade says..

Norwood should play whenever possible in my opinion

I also noticed Sharp shouting and being angry but couldnt see who it was too, thought it was poor game management again. Should’ve had Ndiaye and Jebbison 15 mins before they even got near the pitch

Got some stick from Udders when he came on so could just have wanted to get out of it

I hope he was pissed off.....
I hope he saw the void in midfield that needed addressing.....
I hope he saw the composure and steadying that was missing.....
I hope he saw that we could have been so much better in midfield.....

Because he wouldn't have been wrong....

I genuinely feel that would have been a different game with a different midfield. I genuinely feel we suddenly improved and transformed when norwood came on. I feel we may well have even beaten Huddersfield had Norwood started.

So yeah, if he was pissed off it was warranted and it shows he thinks like the rest of us....

Always the case when he isn’t playing only then do people see what he brings to our system he’s the best football brain in the club

Agreed. It’s so annoying that he takes shit but he’s everything good about us when we look good. We’d be a right bunch of moaning fuckers (more so) if we never had Ollie Norwood. The bloke made the promotion team come together, for me. Yes, he has some shortcomings, but it’s a team game, sometimes players aren’t at their full potential because of those around them.

There was nowt up with Norwood I suspect you might have missed him being the first to clap the fans before heading off.

Sharp was shouting at the bench as he was just angry with the game plan and how much respect it showed the opposition.

Worth noting we still have another 4 matches to play this month. I expected Hecky to rotate the team, everyone has a part to play. Especially with the bad luck we are having with injuries then I am not surprised he is trying to keep everyone match ready.

JOC, Didsy and Brewster all look like they will be out for the rest of the season.

Osborn and Stevens struggling for fitness. Plus Ben Davies barely making the squad as well.

I didn't have the points to get a ticket and had a Huddersfield purchase history from when my mate lived there, so I got a ticket just behind the Blades bench.

Half time warm up, Norwood seemed happy as owt, and if anything was leading the banter, laughing and mucking about (especially at one touch when Jebbo megged Goode)- I was actually thinking he looks a really good team man. Nowt doing.

People have quickly forgotten his poor form early season! He is a good footballer, but he relies on a robust player alongside him. Hourihane is settling into that role and they complement each other’s game well. Even the other John Fleck (out of form) helps.
He also thrives when we have more creative outlets such as Bogle, Berge, MGW and Ndiaye, for Norwood to make the best of his qualities.
The managerial change has helped his confidence too.

I heard it was cos Tarn were switching lecky off t showers early due to price increases or maybe he saw the Iceberge thaw out before his very eyes and start to boss midfield or Strictly (is that still a thing?) was on early or....

I've noticed the same with Robinson at home , he doesn't go round the ground like the team, he claps but goes straight down the tunnel followed by Norwood. Wonder if it's because of the agro they have had from the fan's that they don't want to show any appreciation for support because they make think it's false
