Decent point

Not the best performance but a decent point against a decent team quite surprised by Huddersfield well played back 3 onward and upward
Agreed. Two solid shouts for pens for them so perhaps lucky to come away with 0-0.

Though they seemed to only have the one plan - everyone behind the ball and hope for a counter

Take a point away from home, considering the ref could have given them a pen.
Yes we got away with at least one decent appeal, but we came closer to scoring than they did. On another day both Fleck and McBurnie's efforts would have gone in. Overall I'm a little disappointed that we didn't nick it. We were by far the better team in the 2nd half.

One thing that pissed me off. We knew that the three minutes of added time were almost up, but chose to fanny around with the ball as opposed to lumping it into the box.

whereas i had absolutely no idea what our plan was

give hecky that one though but lost a couple of brownie points

Decent point. They were a lot better than I expected and can see why there unbeaten at home since November.
If that was under Slav we’d have lost 3-0.

Hopefully it has given Ndiaye, Norwood and Hourihane a rest to be able to go again Tuesday. As well as getting some minutes into MGW

Got lucky with at least 1 pen (not convinced by the second) but we could have nicked it at the end. Draw probably the fair result. They’re a decent outfit & rock solid defensively.

Billy needs a break, looked really leggy all afternoon.

Baldock was superb against WBA & decent again today. Not sure we can have him full time at LWB though as he needs to cut inside almost every time to do something in attack.

Fleck is concerning me. Was anonymous for the entirety of the first half effectively leaving Berge on his own to deal with their midfield. Improved a bit when Norwood came on mind.

JLT was excellent… again.

No ground lost on a playoff contender

No injuries

A few key players rested

Overall a poor performance but I'll take it. Fleck can only be a backup unfortunately, he's just not good enough anymore. Some really poor touches at key moments and was generally anonymous.

MGW had moments where he looked leagues above everyone else but overall not great, but that's to be expected. It seemed a little early to give him a start but Ndiaye needed a rest. I'd love to see those two back on the pitch together against Hull.

Huddersfield are unbeaten since November, a very good point.
We threw points away today Huddersfield were toothless tbh and better decisions by our Manager we would have won today not changing it until 75 mins or so ridiculous

More likely to have thrown it away. We have a lot of games to play this month and Hecky is trying to keep the squad fresh.

I need this thread, to help challenge how I see it, the result. It's like a thread of messages to convince me that it wasn't that bad after all.

Currently feeling flat as a fart, feeling like we failed to show up, to boss midfield, to take the game to them, to play our way, to claim ground on another playoff rival.

Chinese takeaway and some Brewdog later on, see if that'll perk me up!

I thought Hudders were there for the taking today, penalty shout apart I thought they offered little in the second half. Not sure what McBurnie offers bar nuisance value. We march on

I'm not a fan of that starting midfield but I understand that we are in a hellish run of fixtures and people need resting. I expect to see ndiaye and Hourihane back in mid week. Huddersfield looked better than I expected but I would not be afraid of facing them in the playoffs.

Me neither.

We aren't going to be brilliant with a small, injury hit squad playing three games a week. We finished strongly, kept a clean sheet and didn't lose ground to a rival. Flaws? Fucking dozens, but this is it and this is us till end of season.

Surprised no-one's mentioned the disallowed goal. I think we were fortunate there. Thought we were very flat in first half but better in second. No idea how Fleck's effort stayed out. Overall a fair-ish result that could have gone either way. Away end was very flat compared to the Birmingham game, particularly in the first half. Does less drinking time really make such a big difference?

Good point, we weren’t very good and didn’t lose. They had a goal chalked off for nothing.
