Billy is really up for it and his reaction last week running in to square up to Roberts when he had a tangle with N'Diaye.

Bogle's brilliant and getting better every match- not just beating his man but defending now, and a few passes he threaded through in build up play last night (including the 2nd goal) were class. Can't drop him.

But for me that challenge said everything about Baldock. I think just for sheer guts, effort, pace (and a bit of nastiness, he's a winner) he'd be there with Bash and Billy for me as first names on the teamsheet.

I know ideally we wouldn't have 2 brilliant right backs and nobody decent at left back, but we've got to start both. It might spur on Enda a bit when he's back too.

Glad there's a Baldock thread. There were times going forward where his lack of left foot slowed things down a little bit, but was great to see him back in the team.

Player interviews are usually complete dross, but his after the match last night was very good, especially around being Bogle's biggest champion with his recent form.

He’s the one player I’ve been hoping we could see more of in this season’s campaign .

Last night he took to his new role like a duck to water and I’m sure he’d do the same in another different position , that of playing alongside Norwood in the holding midfield role . One thing for sure is that opposition players would not have the easy ride they’ve been granted on many occasions by previous occupants of that role ......

Have you listened to Hecky post match about looking at the numbers and seeing that we are creating nothing from the left side? Yes, Baldock made a few mistakes last night but he seemed to get more confident as he went. RND isn't strong defensively or in attack for me
