Bogle is a constant threat down the right, a clinical finisher but a defensive liability. Baldock on the other hand is defensively strong but doesn't offer much attacking, so with gorgeous George giving protection at RB we play to Baldock & Bogle's strengths and weaknesses.

Bogles scored a few 'ghosting in' goals like that which are a nightmare for teams to pickup. I'd love to see that be the focus of his game.

I can’t think of any goals that he’s cost us. Why take out a cb and lose our wingbacks to play him further forwards. Don’t change a winning team/formation for me.

"Ghosting" is why he scores them. They aren`t looking for or expecting the run.
Exactly this. I play Rwb, albeit in Sunday league football. However, I've been deployed at RW and I prefer Rwb for the exact reason that I like to ghost in on the action or arrive late.

It`s almost like it`s planned for Bogle to do this because it`s one of his major assets.

Multiple square pegs in round holes? Trying to make a back four happen with a squad clearly suited to a 3? Trying to play a front 3 when we have no wingers? I can only conclude that you are Slavisa Jokanovic.

This is a joke right?

I'm double deadly djaffo serious.

His strengths are his skill and finishing which are being constrained by defensive responsibility. I don't think going 4-3-3 is much different to how we play anyway and he's certainly good enough to tweak the system for.

Unfortunately I think Slav proved we don’t have the defenders for a back 4 …gutted for Baldock as between him and bash its a toss up for player of the Wilde era for me, testament to Baldock as well that he was straight up to Bogle at the end of the match and celebrating with him, a proper team player

Why are you obsessed with playing Bogle as a winger??
We dont play with WINGERS, Jokanovic tried to change the formation and we turned to shit, why would we do it again.
Bogle is learning, and needs to keep learning, he's not a forrad.

Let’s just revert to a back 4 that killed our first half to the season. From the back 3 that has re-ignited our season.

Put the djaffo cakes back.

When I used to play RWB I used to ghost in late. Just that play was back up other end by the time I got there.

Aside, Bogle played right midfield against Carlisle and it showed why he doesn't play there.

Jokanovic tried to change the formation and we turned to shit,

With poor selection (Burke) and Brewster as LWF (I actually meant to put MGW there in my OP...maybe Slav brainfarted with that too but actually followed through with it at Swansea away).

Bogle is a winger plying as a RWB.

Pretty sure he’s a RWB playing RWB, unless you know more than the professionals

Absolutely terrible at defending. Lost positionally and can't tackle. Anywhere near the opposition's area he looks unplayable.

Bogle is more an AM than eather, but, we dont play 433, we tried, we were wank, we stopped, were better.
So stick to 352/3412, it's what were best at.

I don't think it's as daft of an idea as everybody's made out. Bogle's attacking threats aren't just his ghost runs. He's decent in tight spaces, he gets to the byline, he takes men on, he adds pace to our attacks.
I think he's probably better at RWB, but it's an experiment I'd be open to.

MGW berge Ndiaye
Brewster or Jebbison

Now chew on that 😋

Ah shit, sorry I thought this was a place to casually contribute opinions.

Give me 12 months or so and I'll see how many FA Coaching badges I can amass so that I am entitled to a professional assessment.

In the meantime, summon the Moderators to shutdown the forum until members can prove their footballing credentials.

Let’s try it in preseason after the Wembley win.
