The match is advertised as being available to people in an “Unsold Territory”

Despite “being” in just such an Unsold Territory I can’t seem to purchase a one off pass to watch today’s match.

Just offering me Audio (already have season pass for that) or a Half Season pass for £85 (and I don’t trust that that will actually work each time)

Anyone having a different experience or can offer any tips?

The list of unsold territories on the website did not match the EFLs list at the start of the season, as United had not updated it from 2018-19. I don’t know if this is still the case.

Whereabouts are you? Are you sure it is supposed to be available?

EDIT you could try buying a match pass from the Derby website

These are places you need to vpn catch a plane to:
Albania, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Laos, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Singapore, San Marino, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Ukraine, Vatican City and Vietnam

I can see PL and EFL clamping down on VPN use soon. They'll find a way. Greedy shithouses.

They already have on ifollow. But its SUFC streaming and nothing to do with commission they get off their partnership with Nord.

Or Barnsley

Been to most of those countries in the last 10 mins, but like the OP, I don't have the option to buy a pass for today.

Some websites can detect if you are coming through a VPN and block it regardless.
Last season of PL I know someone who was trying to get a Canadian sports TV subscription to watch United through a VPN, and it blocked them.

Maybe SU have now? Somebody I know was going to watch it through Nord, any of you who are blocked using that?

Today's match has been picked up for live broadcast by a few of the bigger international networks, e.g. ESPN, so that reduces the number of countries the SUTV stream will be available in.

For me in Finland, it's another "dead match" in my season pass along with all the ones Sky pick up which also end up on Viasat/Viaplay here.

Of course my son is a big fan of the Premier League so we have to have a Viaplay subscription as well 😁

That’s interesting - below is what is on the email from SUFC I got a couple of days ago re Unsold Territories

^Unsold Terrotories:

Europe: Albania, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Romania, Ukraine

Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Japan, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand

Caribbean: Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Isles, Cuba, Puerto Rico, St Helena, Ascension & Trista Da Cuna, St Kits & Nevis, St Vincent & the Grenadines, US Virgin Islands

Oceania: American Samoa, Christmas Island, Cocos Islands, Cook Islands, Federated states of Micronesia, Fiji, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Norfolk Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu

Mostly the same as the list you provided but not quite

(Cyprus is the obvious one on the SUFC list but not the other one)

However my very fast private plane has taken me to Albania and Luxembourg recently - which are on both lists - with no success.

The irony is that - as my Username hints - I am actually based out of the U.K. for much of the year!

I will get the pilot to fire up the Lear Jet and see how I get on with some other locations.

Good tip also to try the Derby site - I guess they would have the benefit of being a Kevin Gage free zone also 😁

No issues whatsoever buying a one off pas for £10 on Derby website. Thank you so much for the tip!

For the information of others I made a quick dash to Albania first - although I think it would have been fine from any of the territories listed above.

So the issue is with SUTV (no surprise there…..)

And as I said earlier Brucie Bonus of no Kevin Gage (no idea who Derby will trot out - and don’t care)

Is your 'private jet' Nord, or another one? We'll be flying in the Nord later and don't want to be caught out.

Sign up to securely live. I watch all of the games through them, because I have a similar problem watching from Greece.

Rams TV has a map on its website that shows which countries the match can be viewed in given it has been picked up by a number of countries for broadcast. Those of you in Albania are in luck as it would appear are The Netherlands (which I found surprising )plus Turkey and large swathes of Asia for those of you who find yourselves there this afternoon.

Cough - Luxembourg - Cough.

Half Season pass for £85 (and I don’t trust that that will actually work each time)

I thought so too, but I bought it and it worked fine last time (whenever that was, so long ago) and has logged me straight in with the 'Watch Live' button active just now.

The problem today is that we are the main featured EPL game for the tv in all the countries where rights have been sold. Reducing number of countries you can stream from on SUTV dramatically compared to most Saturdays. Normally not a problem watching 3pm games via SUTV in the states but this week our game is on ESPN+ so can’t buy pass on SUTV without a VPN.

I use a Vpn and never miss a game it depends which streaming site u use some are better than others and more expensive

Yes I agree with that - that Map I referred to on the Rams TV website does show a lower than usual number, although there are still plenty to choose from if your Nord Gulfstream IV can get you there in time.
Ukraine is also an option but my pilot advised against putting down there at the moment given all the unrest 😁

I second the opinion that the SUTV site is shite - if Derby in their parlous financial state can get a functioning one …

Or maybe they are just desperate for the cash.

Is there no way to watch through SUTV today? Derby wasn't showing up as an option from Holland or the Ukraine (it has been a busy day) earlier. The Boro game was though.

I'd rather not give Derby's administrators a £10!

Just got to Austria on McAfee Airlines and still can't see an option to get a single pass. Has anyone actually got a single pass for this game? I'm about to give up and hit the illegal strea..... Austrian bars

I’ve had no problem from Nordic Japan all season and no issue today either
