It's looking like this could be only our second game in six weeks. If the Middlesbrough game is off would you play the first team so that they will be match fit?

Of course play the first team. Competitive fixture, cup game, premier league team, 90mins in the legs. If anything it's better to come back to this than a league fixture at the moment (IMO). Still would rather Boro went ahead.

Saw the thread title and I was just relieved that you didn't post a link suggesting this game might be called off.

No doubt someone else will closer to the time!

The problem with so many of our games being called off is we could really do without more cup games filling up our calendar this season.

On the flip side as others have said we need the first team playing and want to keep momentum, making it a difficult decision who to play.

Desperately need to play a full strength team at Molineux now. These lads are gonna quickly become ring rusty if they don’t get a game soon.

For now we're probably ok because of they play, they don't train.

We also have players we can rotate, especially in cup games.

The issue that worries me is if we get a backlog then it might move from if they play they don't train, to playing when you'd ideally be resting. Then there is the likely injuries both soft tissue and through combat that increased games in a short space would invite.

Make sure we we lose we can’t afford a run of cup fixtures

Only United would get done for match fixing in a game away at a top half Premier League team!

I'm actually glad this is our next game as the result doesn't really matter and we can use it to get up to speed a bit. I'll be surprised if it's off as both clubs will just want it out of the way.
An early prediction, no cup games will be called off.
