If Middlesbrough play wed against Blackpool , they will not have missed one match , and will have played all 3 of there xmas matches where we haven't play One !!
I am not sure if that a good thing or a bad thing ?

And we won our last two one against 10 men who we were hanging on against and almost threw it away and one with our only shot on target albeit a solid performance
Boro should have been out of sight first half against Forest

They will have be tired having played all there games. Huge advantage for us we should take full advantage of this.

Think we need this one on. Its one thing being fresher than the other side, but when does “fresher” become “rustier”? (at the sty, obvs). If this one gets binned, that means we’ll have played 1 league game in 6 weeks. That can’t be good. Plus its another game that will have to be slotted in later.

I’m optimistic and think it will be on. Unless Boro get key injuries/suspensions tonight, I can’t see why they wouldn’t want it on.

We should have been out of sight well before Cardiff even scored if you recall!

I think United are better than Boro. Just my opinion.

Its a shit KO time at 12.30 when many people dont go to bed till late in the hours on NYE so not much sleep and still pissed up !

However I still want it played as we are mounting up games to be played in the future.
 
I like all of us loved wilder when he was with us and the what he and knilly achieved. Definitely the best football I've seen at the lane; possible exception being the three first month's of the season under Nigel Spackman. It's hard to be critical of why he left until wilder says his side of things. One thing I can see is that wilder will be bitter towards United, like Warnock was after he left, but in time I think wilder will be remembered fondly. But it still feels like a tragedy that wilder didn't stay with us, I thought we were finally set for years in the Prem but as ever with United it wasn't to be.

Side note anyone else noticed that wilder has taken to wearing a suit for Boro, over preference with us to go with jogging bottoms etc. He did wear a suit at Oxford and Northampton though. Not sure why I'm mentioning this but I've stayed so I'll finish!

I’d take a lunch time kick off on a non working day over an evening game every time.

Not a fan of evening games aside from the really big occasions. Flat atmosphere due to a sober crowd and a handful of away fans. Rush there from work, cold, pissing it down, no opportunity for a pot after.
 



With their game @ Blackpool gone ahead tonight I hope the match on Saturday is played now. With what time they will be back after tonight's game and with the match on Saturday being a 12.30 KO (SKY SPORTS) they will have limited time to train and may still be feeling a bit tired come Saturday with their Christmas fixtures been played.
