Oli McBurnie should be in this team

He’s been injured, had a real dip in form, had Covid, been kicking the shit out of people, drink driving and nearly had an hoover pipe on the end of his nob only to find out it looks fuck all like him, other than that he should definitely be starting. 😁

Obviously an unpopular opinion but no idea why given that in 2018/2019, in the championship, he scored 24 goals.

Now we're also in the championship, and the logical thing to do would be to play him, but we aren't and yet he's still slated by fans?

If this has a target of 10 pages (©️Shoutbox), it’s made a fucking good start….😁

The problem I have with this, is that I've seen nothing from Oli McB to say that he can recover that past form that people refer to, did he simply "peak" at a young age, in his football career?

I remember sitting at Oakwell, saying to the Mrs, watch this lad, McBurnie, if he gets the ball, he scores, and he did. Same when he was at Swansea. His record for us is pretty poor.

No no don’t play him we just revert to the long ball…he’s shite sell him in January

Why? Given he has been out injured and then isolating, Brewster started to look the part before he was injured, the team is winning, unless McB is absolutely tearing it up in training, why should he be in the team ahead of Mousset, or Billy, or Brewster? When he is fit and gets a chance, it's up to him to take it, and keep his place in the team

It was never McBurnie's fault that him being on the pitch meant we played hoofball that was down to Wilder. He has more than proved he can do it at this level so no reason he can't do it in a United shirt, although it would help if a vocal section of our support got off his back and actually did a bit of supporting.

McBurnie so looks the part if that part is:
A. Rhys Ifans in Notting Hill
B. Catweasal from 1980s British Wrestling.

Slav Knew. I understand that so does Hecky 😉.

He was never any good to start with, despite some impressive numbers at Swansea. Certain folks would have been able to see that. Some …….. well !

Hatred is a very strong word. Frustration at watching a player so spectacularly out of his depth try to perform for YOUR team and make a right Rick of it, week in, week out, would be closer to it.

His time could well be coming to an end if some other club can pay a decent fee (around £5m).

Therein could lie the problem !!!

And as such, we could well be stuck with this clown for a while longer yet.

UTB.

You know who else liked comparing people to Hitler?

Well, anyone on a Covid thread on here, obvs, and 90% of anyone else on the internet, anywhere, forever.

My main question to you, given the blizzard of angry faces you’re uncharacteristically doling out, is ‘Just how bad is your hangover?’, and ‘Do you need someone to bike you round some skins?’.

😊

Hard to support him when he isn't on the pitch, due to injury or isn't isolating, also hard to support him when he is on the pitch and isn't scoring, if he is tearing it up in training then he deserves a chance, if he isn't then he has to wait for a chance because someone is injured or out of form

I'm pretty sure the OP's bait but the sooner we move this clown on the better. His finest moment being a great header against Leicester and his second, apparently, a 25yard bobbler, in off the post at Brighton. Since then a couple of great headed clearances out of our box and his highlight reel is done. Reminds me of the class clown that people love but it eventually wears thin with the same old, same old. People can point the finger at Brewster, Berge and Mousset as poor value for money but this clown takes the biscuit.
