Match Off

Ridiculous Wba had positive cases and others showing symptoms with 6 kids on their bench and forced to play.
A great way to cover for injured players.

Just one of benefits having a club in London, ask and you will receive!
The odd thing is they didn't even ask. Just publish an announcement and postpone and EFL investigate afterwards.

Know anyone who needs 20,000 pies , I’m sure they’d be out of date on the 29th.
Will they be out of date by 26th. Just asking for another club who might take 3000 of them for two matches they have before 29th.

Unless they can prove they had less than 13 players they should be forced to forfeit and a 3-0 be awarded.

You can't just cry "covid" because you get the odd case when you happen to have injuries.

That said, if beating QPR is beyond us then forget about play offs.

It also gives Brewster, Olsen, Berge, Fleck time though. So it might not be the worst. It also means we have a good rest before Fulham.
Rest ?
Feckin rest ?
I want that defence on testosterone tablets and hitting the feckin gym for a week.
Mitrovic is salivating at the thought of swatting Davis off the ball with just an evil stare.

And just never rearrange the fixture. Unprecedented? Yes.
Cowardly? For sure.
Would piss Fulham off? Definitely.

But it would save the embarrassment (not to mention goal difference) of being absolutely well and truly tonked by Fulham.
I don't know what you're worried about mate.
Bash , Egan & Davis are jetting off to a secret Russian clinic this week where they will be genetically reconstructed into prime physically dominant CB specimens using the DNA of JoC.
That Mitrovic bloke won't know what's hit him , come next Monday night.

So out of the 25 resisted QPR players it mean they must have at least 11 players certified out with Covid? 🙃 will the EFL have checked 😡

It needs nore transparency.

It does feel as if the clubs just decide they have covid and that's enough to call off a game.

It should be them reporting it, advising how many tested positive and negative and the league then saying yes or no.

It does feel arbitrary. Yes, West Brom will laugh it off now they won. But what if they had lost?

Anyways, I think we'll beat QPR at home regardless of when we play them but it would have been nice to have occupied 8th and 2 off the play offs when we go to Fulham. At present it doesn't feel like 13th is a far reflection of the recent uptick.

Coincidence its 2 London clubs? Tottingham and Queens Park? Yet keep hearing of northern teams playing games with U23s in squad. Isnt that was squads are for?
Spurs might get away with it in PL but looks like UEFA will throw book at them.
As for QPR, didnt Warburton say they were missing 3/4 key players through injury - guarantee they will be back.
I note that in Rugby Union if teams cannot raise a team to play due to Covid, its an automatic 28-0 lose (equivalent to 4 try bonus point).

Fulham will be hit with covid this week - the whole of London will not play games this Christmas.

Yep the southern bastards are hoping for a rematch on a sunny afternoon in May. Twats

Fully jabbed now means two and the 3rd booster, that article only refers to 2 jabs.
You can still get it and pass it on with 3 jabs so the article still has relevance
The likelihood of serious illness and worse is strongly reduced though

WBA played their match at the weekend with 3/4 players having to isolate due to Covid.

I'm pretty sure we were forced to play Burnley at Turf Moor last year after a Covid outbreak in our camp.

I suppose the difference here is that QPR have a hand full of the regular first teamers out with injury too...although I'm pretty sure they should still be able to cobble together a starting XI and 5 players for the bench 🤷‍♂️

I suppose we should ignore the fact that over the weekend man city, man utd, Liverpool and Chelsea all got their wins from the penalty spot after some dubious help from the referees? 🤷‍♂️ 😂
Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea are clearly NOT the vast majority of football. The vast majority of football is played as "like v like" "similar ability v similar ability". Thems the #FACTS

We weren't complaining when it meant McBurnie had to isolate himself from the team....

Pre-match view from QPR now unliked.
Sorry Roy, it was a good performance, but when a game gets abandoned any hard work goes to waste.
I look forward to the re-write.

As mentioned on the shoutbox: despite the mass outbreak of Covid at QPR, their Harlington training ground was open this morning. Interesting call from them
