Got to agree. Black boots matter.
I love to see a pair of proper black boots - preferably Adidas World Cup.

Yes, the Puma King is a worthy runner-up.....
I had a pair of them both and they were both good boots. There's just something about the '82 World Cup Menotti's I had that I associate to the peak of my footballing career. It was only South Yorkshire Boys but, you know, peaks are peaks.

I loved the boots SEB but i couldn’t have much to do with them as I associated them with them twats over t’ road.

I had a pair of them both and they were both good boots. There's just something about the '82 World Cup Menotti's I had that I associate to the peak of my footballing career. It was only South Yorkshire Boys but, you know, peaks are peaks.

I wore Kings constantly. Had two pair on the go (moulded and screw-in) every season. Only time I didn't was one season when a friend was off to Italy and said he'd get me a pair of boots to try. He came back with the best boot I ever had, of course back (80s) then difficult to get here. Everyone who saw them thought they were a pair from the market, but a few knew quality when they saw it and Pantofola were, maybe still are, quality.
