How to use language so that you say a lot that means nothing at all.
They have been listening to SJ
A lot of words but not necessary in the right order..
So to summarise then. We will spend nothing in the January transfer window. We will try to bring the youth players through to the first team. We will try to get rid of the expensive players who are underperforming.
We hope for the best fellow Blades but we might have to wait a while to see improvement. Meanwhile we are going to leverage the synergies according to the bloke in the tracksuit. UTB

I’ve read a lot of comments re the press conference, here’s my view.
From a business point of view much of what was said made perfect sense. The chairman does not need to be a football man. It made me laugh that he was the only one wearing sports gear though.
We need a new way to move forward. Having a so called football man or supporter at the top has never produced lasting success, ever.
Having a blade as manager has never given lasting success.
Appointing a manager with a proven track record has never brought success.
Spending millions on players has never brought success.
Yet that’s what many fans seem to want. To constantly repeat past failures in the hope it may work.
What we now have is a new vision from people who present their thoughts clearly and with good reason. It’s very easy to take a pessimistic view, but I say give it two to three years and then judge. You never know, if they really do have a workable plan it may just work. After all nothing has ever worked before so we needed change.
