I suspect the Right Back (Lowton) is detailed to be on the Post, so it has to be Doyle, and one of Monty or Williamson.

As I said to Highbury elswhere, maybe I'll do some every now and then, they take quite a bit of time to do.. I think it is Porter who closes down the man on the ball following the short corner. Like against Walsall I think our 2nd defender (Monty in this instance) should have been closer to Porter to cover behind him. It may not have helped, but it would have given our 2nd defender a better chance of blocking the cross. The cross is pinpoint, and the pace of the ball AND Labadie's run makes it hard to prevent the goal for our men in the box.

The second photo shows Tranmere having the 2nd defender in the right position. Slew beats the 1st defender, but is then forced to pass it sideways. Ironically we still score!
