Disgusting behaviour from Blades fans tonight

Unfortunately the youth nowadays are all getting more out of hand, they all want to be Billy big bollocks in groups and pick on the weak or few in number.

Unfortunately football has a history of attracting idiots so it's no surprise it's getting worse.

The law/authorities are pretty powerless to stop them, outside of a silly fine and slap on the wrist, that's not going to deter wannabe gangstas.

Surely with such a small allocation, the Blades fans there should all be away day regulars?

Hi Stegosaurus here

If its the young 'uns causing trouble, maybe Bramble Lane needs age restrictions.

Anyone between 16 to say 25 is banned.

The bloke next to me has his nose broken, I saw a young lad 3 rows in front of me take a hay maker to the side of his face, and Shen it kicked off just after we scored I saw a 40 year old bloke stamp on a young lads head after his mate had just decked him. I still can’t believe what I saw tonight. I left the away end in disgust 10 minutes before the end of the match. I went for a piss on the way out and there were 3 to 4 of them kicking the shit out of each other in the toilets. Morons
Sounds terrrible. Glad I didn’t go! What’s wrong with people!?

I’m calling bullshit on what you’ve posted.

I’ve been at the match tonight and not seen anything untoward, as have a few other respondents on here whose opinions I trust.

Tonight has been a loud and noisy away following backing their team, I was around the concourse at half time, before the match and after the match and saw none of the behaviour you describe.

Weird post. Plenty have validated it. Did you have eyes everywhere at all times?

Sadly, It happened pal. I’m a 50 year old man not an attention seeking juvenile wanting to increase my followers/subscribers or whatever it is these days

Great passion shown by blades fans last night. Or was it.
We had a long thread on here at the weekend blaming our support for not being loud enough or passionate enough.
Now there is a thread saying it boiled over. Which way do you want it blades fans?
Sterile or hooligan ridden.
Or maybe somewhere in the middle.
Or let's stick to safer ground and just slag off referees in the future whilst remaining woke

Doesn’t surprise me as so sad as it is

the worlds going mad

The way people speak to each other at times on this forum , call each other out and verbally abuse each other behind a keyboard just because the other dare put forward an opposing view to theirs is disgusting and threatening

dime people think they can do and say exactly what they want - and they get away with it

Was watching on the firestick on ifollow and when we scored you could see about 8 orange jackets going up into the blades fans so summat happened

Ok but let’s bring the passion to the home games as well

The shitter we are the more nobends we seem to attract. It was getting out of hand in league 1 but settled down with success.

The thing I don't understand is, everything is loyalty points and small allocations now. There is CCTV everywhere. I realise as a club we're generally incompetent but it can't be beyond the dint of man to make a concerted effort, with SYP, to identify and simply ban anyone fighting for the rest of the season?

With broken noses, heads stamped on etc there certainly must have been a lot more hospitalisations than the figure given by Trent Bridge [none]

I've started being a bit more picky about which away games I take my young lads to these days. Late kick off, seats on the flanks by the home fans. Forget it.

Not sure I get this. I have followed us home and away for almost 40 years. Seen some good and bad stuff.
I like a beer , banter and to get behind the team.
I don’t like dickheads who create issues, Chuck bottles, set off flares in closed spaces or abuse women.
That goes anywhere.

I occasionally saw trouble when I started going to games in the late 70s and have done all the way through to today. It’s no worse today - in fact I think there is less trouble due to police cameras and surveillance. It would never make me think about stopping going to games though even though very occasionally you see some sickening things. Generally it’s easy enough to steer clear of trouble if you want to.

No excuse for our fans fighting each other though. But it shouldn’t detract from the vast majority who were there last night. The support for the team was great, particularly considering it was another poor performance.

Didn’t go so can’t comment on last night specifically.

Blades fighting each other is fucking embarrassing though but sadly nothing new. All clubs have a minority of dickheads who follow them and we are no exception.

It’s the new age ‘schooligans’ who are becoming more prominent. Football - away games in particular - seems to make people behave differently to how they would in day-to-day life.

Sounds like some people deserve a good hiding for being disrespectful and a general dickhead.

It seems to me too many fans appear at the last minute, often pissed up and either can't find their seat or want to stand with their pissed up mates so they just stand on the stairs. After the Hull game I mentioned the trouble to a friend and he had seen none so it's not impossible to be unaware of what's going on - it's a matter of being lucky and not being in the wrong place at the wrong time! My answer now is to never choose a position near the end of a row and hopefully keep out of the way of the pissheads.

I didn't go last night but watched on SUTV and there was an occasion when 5 or 6 stewards went into the crowd (didn't take much notice so I can't say exactly when it was). Have a ticket for Blackburn but losing my enthusiasm for going.

How else do you punish that behaviour? If you don't punish it, it will happen again. Some people have been dragged up and show no respect for others and elders.
