Listened to him carefully on P&G. Didn't understand a word he said. Never do. His English is sooooo poor. Speaks in riddles. Makes you wonder how the hell the players understand him. After today they must have failed to understand his instructions that football is actually played for 90 minutes!. Failed to play for last 30 mins. V frustrating both the team & manager!

Said to my mate on the way home Did you understand any of that? - we both said no .

I can understand the words he said - i cannot understand what he was trying to say in response to the questions he was asked .
 
He said we played well for 70 minutes or so, but were (yet again) undone by a basic piece of football. We need to be stronger and concentrate more.
He also wouldn't get into singling out one player (Norwood).

Whether you agree with what he said is another matter, but understanding the points that he makes really isn't difficult, even if it is in his 3rd language. It just requires a little concentration.

The Fulham & Watford players seemed to understand him.

Yes I understand him, quite easily to be honest.

Maybe me living abroad has made things like that easier.
 
This probably explains it, I thought I'd heard him say that we needed to be braver on multiple occasions... But a number of players seem to have heard it as 'hide'.

He was saying that Weds are the Man U of their division

Both have a underwhelming manager and are erratic .

The reporter really had him though when he reeled off the Man U players and said that he count see the Weds equivalent in their squad - ie who is Weds Ronaldo?

They really are deluded - and crap

It was a very poor interview from Rob Stainton to be honest and in fairness to SJ. It’s clear that SJ’s English isn’t the greatest but Stainton asked long questions with lots of phrases and words which I doubt SJ understood.
Stainton should know that and give him shorter and simpler questions.

That said - I can’t be arsed to listen to his interviews most of the time because I don’t know what he’s going on about! 🤣🤣

He avoided the question about "What are you doing to sort out the fact that your team can't defend a long ball?", that was the one he needed to answer.

It's becoming obvious that quite a few people for different reasons have got beef that foreign ownership and a foreign manager aren't giving them the access they've had previously 😉
