Yes, we're in the Third Division.

As to the squad, we don't know how well or badly it will perform - and it's still a 'work in progress'. We have some very promising youngsters coming through the ranks, and a number of development squad players that may well be able to make their mark in this division. Hardly the 'worst squad for many a year'.

We're not a dead club - we're very much alive and kicking.

I'm looking forward to the season.

This does puzzle me. I've given huge sacrifices in time, money, career decisions etc to follow United home and away for 30 odd years until finally - for reasons too numerous to bore you with - the club and football pushed me away.

I'm going into my second season as a free man and I can reveal that there are actually more than two choices as to what to do with your Saturday afternoon and unless you are particularly unlucky most of them are much more fulfilling than it has been watching United in recent years.

And no I don't care what league we are in, I wouldn't be going if we were in the Prem. I get the feeling United and football in general may need to implode before we can get the game back.
