Calm down blades. I’ve been today and we were easily the best team. Ref fucked us up with an atrocious decision but we have loads of positives. Should have got at least a draw. Our problem is lack of creativity from midfield but we’re on the right track. Slav is moulding us into the right team but it might take until next season to get there. Agree. We'll have the occasional game this season, like Peterborough, where it clicks and we win at a canter (although we still conceded a very poor goal that day) but mostly this year we'll be outplayed by the good sides and shithoused by the shithouses.

Next season, when the talent drain continues, we'll really struggle.

Well our best attacking player is a loanee, for one thing. On top of that I definitely think we're at the "selling assets to balance the books" stage, not "a few good signings to put us over the top" stage, hence attempting to sign a lot of mediocrities in a panic at the end of the last window.

Don't get me wrong, selling Berge would be no loss but I'm not convinced we'd get the money in to make the moves we need.

The cost of maintaining a Championship club, staff , training facilities and ground is huge, so let’s not assume that all money can be used to buy new players.

To my mind, we've beaten three poor teams and continued to lose to teams midtable and above. We're a not insignificant way into the season and we're closer to relegation than the play-offs, and we still have huge gaps in the team. The left back situation, the lack of a dominant centre half and central midfield are all huge concerns, and while we have a good number of strikers, none of them look like doing it on a regular basis.
