Cheers Panchero!

Amongst the usual nonsense comments e.g. "rough and tumble", the suggestion that CW could replace NW makes sense in a lot of ways. However, Boro have certainly reduced their playing and non-playing budget in recent seasons so CW would be very unlikely to get the £100tn war chest he'll inevitably demand.

You forgot, " Borderline offensive " for not pronouncing foreign names correctly. The man who gets called Colin Wxxxxr. 🤣🤣.

Some decent comments there. But what's with the strange coloured font in the middle of one of them. A disgrace.

It looks like someone has used backticks ` rather than an apostrophe '. Text editors typically think that anything surrounded by backticks is computer code so it applies styling to it to make it easier to read.

Thanks for the info.

I've calmed down a bit now, in view of that.

Downgraded my spleen venting from targeted kidney punches to general windmilling.

The last thing Wilder needs is big money to spend.

I've put Boro 2-0 in my Super6 predictions.

Never play well up there
Just looked at the head to head statistics, we have a really poor record away to Boro. I have only been there once, the 3:1 loss in the Prem.

I think he’d take boro on sensible owner and a decent squad with some players he’s coveted in the past.

I think it would be a good fit for him as well - don't know why I hadn't thought of it before now.

That is of course, unless he thinks he's worthy of getting a Prem job - not sure any Prem owners would agree though. Hope he doesn't turn himself into another Curbishley / Howe by waiting for the big job that never ends up coming along. I thought Houghton was going to fall into that bracket until he panicked and took the Forest job, which was always going to be very difficult - impossible with that owner.

What kind of reception do we reckon Warnock will get? I've no particular malice towards the guy.

Can't say much for the squad of course but nice to see their fans vocally concerned at the prospect of United. Hopefully that's echoed in the Boro squad and we bag a quick one which we seem to be doing more of lately. For me, start Ndiaye, MGW and Sharp to go at them right from kick off.

I think if wilder is holding out for a prem job he’ll be waiting a long time. I don’t think there’s many prem clubs where his face would fit so to speak and there’s even less that aren’t currently either happy with the incumbent manager or philosophically not going in very different directions to wilder.

View from Boro (Balham edition, exclusive view from my 91 year old grandad, the self proclaimed Oldest Boro Fan in the South): "we're rubbish. I'll not watch it." Cue Boro 1-0 United :)

Glad one of the Smoggies noticed what a lot of our fans seem to have missed: Derby this season under Rooney with Phil Jagielka (376 PL appearances) and Curtis Davies (172 PL appearances) at the back are organised and difficult to break down. They've conceded 8 goals in 9 games; we were never going to put 3 or 4 past them.

I can also see Wilder at the Riverside. Perfect job for him to rebuild his reputation: supportive owner, majority British/Irish squad.
