I thought he was alright playing down the left on Tuesday against Preston in the first half. Can understand if he didn't start, but not even on the bench? Is that the end for him?

I think the amount of players we available now maybe a factor. Slav said post match he knows we will have to rotate a bit sometimes.

I expect Freeman will feature against Soton.

Freeman deputized for Fleck when injured and did ok. How about paring him in midfield with Berge replacing Norwood?
The Norwood Fleck pairing has been selected regularly, but caused most of the problems that are blighting the side in attack and defence.
At least Berge and Freeman have some footballing skills to their game, with MGW and Ndiaye in front of them, we might see a bit of joined up football?

Berge has the tenacity of grated cheese.
It's a no from me.

I would give AG a go in front of the back 4 if fit enough . He looked half decent in his cameo v Posh .
As ever UTB!

Can you think of a better replacement? Because if you can’t, I assume you must be happy with Norwood and Fleck?

I don't think there's many that watch us week in week out that are happy with Norwood & Fleck but a midfield 2 of Freeman and Berge with MGW, Ndaiye, Didzy & Sharp/Brewster up top may go someway to solving our creativity/goalscoring issues but we would leak goals like a fucking sieve...

Couple of weeks? Where’s he been for the rest of the time?

I love the social media team’s focus shift to players who have been injured in the hope that they can’t be any worse than those who have been playing.

To be fair, isn’t that what we’re all hoping?
Completely, but I think the club is inviting derision and ridicule by posting these images. I don't frequent twitter or IG but I'm in a couple of whatsapp group where Berge and Freeman have had the piss ripped out them the last couple of days. The club are inviting this!

I thought when we signed Freeman we had made a really astute signing. He'd been about the best most consistent attacking midfield players at QPR for a few seasons.

Thought that he was a cert to be an new Duffy type especially when we let duffy go.
Change in shape meant that in that first season he pretty much played just when Fleck wasn't available. 2nd half of season didn't get a look in and got injured.

Last season spent injured, on loan and not in great shape.
IF and it's and if he can get himself fit and playing like he was a few seasons back he's a great player especially at this level. So far he's not got there though.
