I have absolutely no idea what he was doing for that first goal? The ball was only ever going straight to Johnson at chest height, he had absolutely no reason to even think he was ever going to miss it. I bet Johnson couldn’t believe his luck, chests it down and simply rolls it into an empty net?

Whats more his kicking with his left foot is appalling, how can a professional footballer, particularly one of his age, not comfortably kick the ball well with both feet. He spannered one to their player when put under pressure in the second half and whilst warming up, Matt Duke rolled a ball for him to kick with his left foot to someone in front of the South Stand and it landed nearer John Street.

Everyone is putting the blame firmly at Olsen for their first, and whilst it's true that he made the finish easy, we can't ignore the fact that one long ball put a man through one v one. Our left side was targeted all night, hopefully Ben Davies fixes that, but we can't afford a LB who seems utterly incapable of tracking a runner. RND really needs to improve that side of his game, or he'll be losing his place very soon.

1st goal was an absolute shocker but I'm putting it down to him only being in the building for 48 hours. Virtually zero understanding with the defence can't have helped. That relationship and understanding takes a bit of time to develop - listening for / giving calls, understanding accents etc.

Clearly, he'd made a decision to come charging out and close the space when the diagonal to Johnson did RND but the way Johnson took the ball completely fucked him.

Beyond that, l thought he did well barring a couple of bits of questionable footwork.

Personally think the bigger issue we have is teams targeting the LB/LWB space. No coincidence that PL teams had joy there last season and we've seen the frailty again.

From what I have seen on the replays it looked like he was expecting Johnson to take it at his feet and he was prepping himself to spread big however when Johnson took it well on his chest he was stranded. Yes he was shocking for that goal but the ball travelled a hell of a long way to get to Johnson it must have travelled 35-40 yards a control touch and a shot and its in the back of the net.

Good thinking by Johnson using his chest to push the ball further into a space that no one else in the ground was expecting
