To be honest expecting kids to pull our teams head out their arse would be expecting a lot. Him, Guedioura and Davies in the squad is a good base for talented kids to hopefully come in and thrive. I just want some real quality now.

Exactly the sort of desperate signing I expected.

He does take a decent set play and can score the odd goal which is more than anyone else but in general play he is extremely ordinary. Even Swansea fans said he was poor when he played for them and most did not want him back despite the odd goal..

We needed energy and people who could break through midfield and play forward passes. Isn't this lad another Fleck/Norwood type?

Surely the sort of player that has been available all summer too...noone has signed him including us so why now? Just seems to be a 'just get someone in' type signing. As I say if he can score 'A' goal or take a decent corner then maybe that is something.

Freeman can't even get fleck on the bench. I think Slav has picked up a taste for Irn Bru and flecky has convinced him only he can get it from a friend of a friend

I know what you mean. There’s only so many young inexperienced players you can have in a team before it can become a bit detrimental, and some of our senior players are a bit shot and need a break, at the very least. If we can replace some with kids and some with new senior players, I don’t think it could be considered a daft approach to sorting things out.

Eastwood can’t get games now anywhere in league footy. I think it’s fair to say he won’t be playing and shouldn’t be playing for United.
We need to find a young, top quality keeper that will stay for a few years.

I get that he’s not exactly been setting the world alight but he’s a definite improvement on our current midfield which at the moment is absolute pony.

Unfortunately that is expensive plus whats the point right now. Quick fix for now and try to sort out more important positions
