squad so bad I’m still putting Burke in because hes fast and I’m not confident in my knowledge of the kids to just go ok he should play there.

needs to be 4/5/6 in still befote the deadline and even a few established names moved out for ours and their own sake

I was tempted by Jebbison I think it’s sends a message to the senior players too although his lack of investment lament lost night got me thinking he’s on the move

Said before on other threads I think McGoldricks number is up, my take is that he likely trains very well, and he’s probably the most gifted player we have technically so Slavs impelled to start him however I think last night was probably a turning point to be hooked before 60 mins is pretty bad. And he’s probably blown it now when they look back and see how many big chances he’s missed. To not hit the targe/draw a save from a 1 on 1 is unforgivable also worth noting that Slav doesn’t owe any of these players a sentimental free pass

I see no other option than to stick with three at the back until we actually get some wingers.

I know Slav wants to implement his style but we have to work better with what we have. These players have been programmed to play a certain way for so many years now there has to be some kind of transition. Trying to shoehorn players into a 442 out of position isn’t really going to cut it for a promotion team.

Just playing around but that side would offer more than what we saw yesterday. Bogle could come in for Baldock possibly and we need the deep lying midfielder we don’t have. I also wouldn’t object massively to Baldock for Bash to give more pace to play a higher line and pin them in their own half.
Wide players need to be told to get the balls in early, if the midfield want to work into wide areas for cut backs fine but our full backs look to whip balls into the box at every opportunity.

I’d say pretty much this I’d swap McBurnie for Burke as I’m sure it's been mentioned on here that he's played on the left and he can't be any worse than Burke
