may as well just fucking sell berge now then… If it’s a choice between berge and no signings at all - which will render the season a write off with a squad not fit for purpose.

we sell berge on the final day of the window and the season will be half over if we wait until then to try and get people in and up to speed.

Needs sorting or like last season a defeat to nil will become an all too familiar - not sure why there is this seemly this lack of urgency around the entire place atm that’s lingered from a wasted preseason. We have a great chance to bounce back if we act rather than piss it away.
 

A lot of “suspicions” and “maybes” in that article. Nothing in there makes me think that it’s anything but guesswork on their part. Why would Jokanovic say he wants 4 or 5 in while saying he wants to keep Ramsdale and Berge if he needed to sell them to get anyone in? Doesn’t add up

That's because it's wild speculation once again to keep the articles 'fresh' but most claims have no grounding in reality and are more often than not the brainchild of a journalist who is used to churning out pure bullshit on a regular basis. I could write an inane article of similar value right now.

To be fair most of us were clamouring for him to sign Brewster, and with Mousse injured, McB and Sharp not really doing the business at PL level, we needed something else up top.

That being said, we absolutely needed to address CM, and CAM especially. The decision to loan out Freeman was even more bizarre under the circumstances.

don’t get me wrong I think Norwood will have a part to play this season but I can’t help but feel that Vieira will be better for the way Slav wants us to play

I have ignored this as it is a tedious saga but I have just looked up this lad and see that he has the grand total of 1 goal in 100+ games.

He’ll fit right in!

Won’t solve our creative problems but will solve our fleck/Norwood being undroppable problem. Think besic really small tough tackling good engine.

At our speed yeah but 5 in a window should be doable. Difficulty for us is we seem to be very reactive in this window rather than proactive probably inevitable when shopping for loans.
