For years, this arguement has been raging for many years.

Ladies & gentlemen, this is OUR opportunity to prove that the Blades has the biggest support.

It's time for US to get behind the team, manager, and club.

Remember - once a Blade, ALWAYS a Blade!

...... but that's history, and a relegation season for them and a near play-off season for us.

Now we start all square.

Not quite sure why you think next season is the one that proves things one way or the other - given that we at our lowest ebb for years. As for your response to my earlier post, we also averaged more in one Premiership season under Warnock (over 30k) - despite being relegated - than they averaged in about 15 consecutive seasons in the top flight, including one when they qualified for Europe.

who cares? Does it matter really? I support the blades and couldnt give a shit about wednesday other than wanting them to lose

Do you not see why that is?

What he said.

I also think that two Division Three in old money clubs arguing about which one is the biggest is rather like two clownfish arguing about which is biggest while many kinds of shark swim all around them.

It's strange - whenever the Pigs are mentioned PN appears to argue their case (or try to). To answer your question, yes I do know why it is, it's because you are not as massive as you think you are.

I'm not stepping in to argue the case of the 'pigs'. I just call things as I see them without bias and based on facts. That means that although I hate Sheffield Wednesday just as much as the next Blade I don't mind admitting when they have sometimes bettered us.

Unfortunately though some people on here can't handle the facts and immediately pounce on you if you so much as hint at them being better than us in some way.

I'll ask the question PN: Are you a Sheffield Wednesday supporter?

Do bears not shit in the woods?

Wednesday are of little consequence to anything anymore.

True enough. In the minds of some you must never mention Wednesday unless it is to spout ridicule and abuse either at them or about them.

However, you were wrong about one thing. At the beginning of the season you suggested that their attendances might well be some cause of embarrassment to us. However, it became apparent at a very early stage in the season that that was not going to happen, even though we were worse than rubbish for the vast majority of the season. They finished about 3,500 down on us per match.

Next season on the other hand........
