Its odd isn't it, how often the phrase ' the manager has lost the dressing room' is used, and yet not sure its been used regards last season!
I think it was a number of things, you often hear ex players say they hated or didn't get on with a certain manager BUT then say, but you knew where you stood with him, he didn't say one thing and do another etc
Don't think CW lost the dressing room, I do think he tried various things to get a reaction, one telling or implying the players weren't good enough, I think a huge part was the lack of motivation, the first season back in the PL with every pundit and his dog criticising us and installing us as favourite fir relegation before a ball was kicked,, great pin the comments on the dressing room wall, problem is if you rely on that, and you don't get it in season 2, where do you find the fuel to ignite the attitude
