Why though if it suits everyone? Maybe he, or other players in a similar boat, identify with that part of their heritage even if it does just amount to one grandparent. Maybe they don't but at the very least it helps make things more competitive. I think its fair game personally.

good luck to fleck. but even when we were at our height in championship. they didnt want fleck. so i dont see him playing much.

Considering most international players just stand there with a look on their face like a dog that's been shown a card trick while the anthems play I doubt its too much of a concern.

Flo played at USA '94 and I believe Suffo was still on our books (just) at the '02 World Cup. Suffo won a gold (as did the rest of his Cameroon team mates lol) at the 2000 Olympics and Carney played for the Aussies (while still on United's books) at the '08 Olympics. Pretty sure we've not had a player play at the Euros yet.

Burke and McBurnie have played themselves out of the squad. That takes some doing if you're Scottish and in the PL.

It would take more than shit form to play themselves out of that squad. More likely It's because they are both injured.
