Just following on from the JPT thread can't remember the last time we were in this round we might play non league, how bad is that? Us knocking out a prem side would be a massive giant killing.

It was the 1988/89 season and we played Huddersfield Town in the 1st Round and Donny in the 2nd Round.

We got to the 5th round that year, and nearly took 1st Division Norwich to a replay.

Now we'd struggle to get a draw against Firth Park Club.

I was there that day! We should have got the replay as well. Dodgy penalty and a unfortunate own goal if I remember right?

Queenie Thompson with the OG, Deane and Agana doing what we could desperately do with a dose of now,a dodgy pen,and then that late winner.

Brownie you are wrong.

FA cup 1st round November 88/89 Mansfield away - drew 1-1 Deane scored a right goal. We won the replay!

Round 2 - beat Donny 3-1 at Belle Vue

round 3 - beat huddersfield 1-0 agama scored a right goal.

Round 4 - Colchester - drew 3-3 at lane - won 2-0 away in replay.

Round 5 - Norwich lost 3-2

one positive is that I might get the odd ground in I haven't been to :)

Odd ground, you mean like shitsbourgh? Seriously I know you have visited there previously. It's not a great positive is it? Surely ease of parking around the ground will be easier is a better one?
