Not looking for an argument, not having a pop, but what a miserable sad night to be a Blade. Watching a live stream and we've not been that bad to be honest, just beaten by a better side.

Don't think anyone fancied our chances tonight, but it still saps the life out of you seeing us get beat yet again, and facing the inevitable drop.

Bogdanovich, Lowton, Quinn, Evans, Mattock and Riise are the only players worth keeping. The rest are a complete joke and should be fucked off, even if it's for free. Collins, Doyle, Montgomery and Henderson highlight everything that's bad about this club, none of them can play basic football.

FFS get back to the simple stuff for starters, ditch these footballing no marks and start again, I honestly do think we've hit rock bottom here.

Totally agree with that. Looked a beaten man after the 1st goal. That sends out the wrong message to the players. Likes of Nosworthy, Yeates, Evans need to be playing with confidence. The team should be sent out expecting to win

I agree. I think those who think we will be near the top of LEague 1 next year are going to get a massive shock. There is no Deane/Agana, Edwards/Morris this time. We have zero pace, zero creativity and a team of slow, plodders that basically dont give a monkeys as they have another1-2 years on their contracts.

Mid table next year would be a positive I feel. It is going to be a long, long hard road back. In my opinion Leeds, Forest, Weds etc were in a far better state in terms of personnel etc when they went down and it took many of them 2-3 years to get up. Nothign convinces me we wont be in this division or even lower for the forseeable future.

Not often I agree with you Horace, but with the exception of your comments on Monty I agree.

On Monty, he seems to be the only player who can pass a ball and deliver it into the box.... seems to have developed this knack of making darting runs and getting around the back to put the ball in. Seen it in 2 games now

Look at the body language. Most of the team seem to feel sorry for themselves being in this position. If they feel they don't deserve to be in the position they're in now, how the fuck are they going to feel in the third tier?

LOL, 2 games out of how many? Saw the under hit pass when he tried to lift it over the centre half when we had a man in good space, saw his first four tackles miss the ball and eventually end up in a booking, saw him get into some goal scoring space and completely fuck up. The obvious problems were defensively, the sheer terror they all showed when they had the ball and the likelihood of a major mistake at any given moment.
Having to play Collins again was always likely to lead to disaster and he played the man on for the first goal though there was no excuse for Nozza's marking.
Second goal needless corner, though it probably actually wasn't one, followed by a shocking clearance.
In reality, we've been relegated before tonight and even if there was to be a miracle it would only come from winning all our home games and scraping a fluke win away.

Agreed Len. Tonight was nothing worth getting upset about. They tried against far better opponents, but were punished for more defensive lapses and an inability to finish.

I'd hazard a guess that everyone connected with Sheffield United feels as deflated as each other this evening and couldn't give a shit about bog rolls, regardless of their "real fan" status
