That struck me as a marked difference from CW who wasn’t slow to criticise the players for their mistakes and giving away the ball.

Maybe as the season wore on CW’s criticism did get worse but perhaps the players could have done with a bit more encouragement and praise here and there.

I‘m still gutted CW went but perhaps it was time.

I am feeling a bit more optimistic about next season though. Last week apart, we’ve started to play better and a bit more like our old selves.

Cant wait for this season to finish though.

Yeah I've definitely noticed a lot of the younger players answer questions with 'yeah definitely'. Bogle in particular seems to definitely use that phrase an awful lot.

P.S. something about Oedipus

In all seriousness the defensive posture (arm-folding) was really obvious. I haven’t seen any other comments about this so perhaps it’s just me being a doughnut but I thought the touch line dynamics looked weird. Tindall was all over the place and doing that arm round the shoulder, last-minute instruction thing when the subs came on. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
