The point I was making is if Chris Wilder has been talking to Celtic was he prompted by the Prince talking to other managers to take his place?

He is NOT taking his place he is apparently going to be the INTERIM/CARETAKER/CALLITWHATYOUWANT manager until the end of the season.

Should the board let the players manage themselves tomorrow?

The Prince has won the lottery three times.
Initially his unbelievable good luck in buying the club from McCabe for next to nothing.
Secondly having Chris Wilder as manager.
Finally Wilder keeping the Blades in the Premier league on a next to nothing wages budget for 2 successive seasons. (Only the 2nd time we've done this in the 29 year Premier league history.)

Wilder has financed this club by getting us to the Premier league and all its riches.

He's a working class Sheffielder who won't arse lick the Saudi Prince. Good for him.

You look after yourself and your family Chris. Think back to those shitty days at Halifax and Northampton.

I hope to see you back at the Lane under different ownership
 
Not sure it changes my opinion of him. But it puts a huge spin on the situation. The key is he has not been sacked. He has always said he won't take any nonsense and would walk if he wasn't happy which is why I was struggling with the idea that they are thrashing out a mutual termination deal. It doesn't sound like him, or a club that said they wouldn't sack him.

Celtic being involved however, does explain all this delay, no word and what can only be described as an odd and very unclear situation.

Explain why you want wilder to fleece the prince and hence the club for as much as possible?

Who said licking arse? I'm not going to start slagging people off until all the facts are in the table as to what's what.

Do we know exactly why he's left?
If so please post the actual details and not speculation.

I haven't used the word 'fleeced'. You've used it twice.

I said 'licking arse'. That's your perogative 'not to start slagging people off......'

I doubt the majority of us know why he's left.

I really hope he does turn up at Celtic very soon.

The reason being we all need to stick together and get behind the lads.

We don't need toxicity and getting on anyone's back.

I think Wilder tipping up at Celtic sharpish would help with that.

No, it won’t. Chris Wilder gave us our pride back in a way nobody else ever did. He made us dream, he gave us hope, and gave us special memories.

I’ll always be grateful, and I hope wherever he goes next gives him as much success as he gave us.

Explain that part? If that's not fleecing the prince in all but name I don't know what is.

I want wilder to get nothing unless the prince forced him out, then whatever compo etc he is entitled too, fair doos, he's been paid a lot of money already, why get more from the club when he's no longer part of it managerial wise?
 
My opinion is he did a great job but really struggled for the last year. He'll hopefully get a good job soon and I hope he makes a success of it. The timing doesn't really matter
 
Good luck to him if he joins Celtic. Big club and a chance to turn a sinking ship around like he did with us. Always had a soft spot for em after getting a pair of Mitre Celtics as my first boots

So how much as he been paid to clarify your comment 'he's been paid a lot of money already'?
