Yes if it was in the next 24 hours but a bit down the line no

No, it’s best for everyone involved to move on. I don’t begrudge Wilder earning a living elsewhere.

No. No job is bigger to Wilder than the Blades if the intimation is that he has forced a move away. If he had a job lined up to allow him to try and force the boards hand to get what he wanted then that’s what any good tactician would do.

Not at all. He was brilliant, lately he hasn't been. I wish him all the best and he's welcome back any time but I would have been happy for him to have another go next season, although I'm not exactly gutted that we're starting again with a new approach. I haven't enjoyed the football for a while, regardless of results and while he gave us a couple of the best seasons we've had in many many years, he's also delivered the absolute worst as well, and regardless of circumstances that's what the record will show.

Cheers Chris, all the best.

Now......

The board have forced him out. Made the position untenable for any manager worth his salt. I hope Wilder gets a job where he's treat with an iota of respect and doesn't have to constantly manage the school children upstairs. The sooner the better.
As for us we get a puppet clown; just like S6.

I think I'd prefer celtic over Newcastle or Palace, at least he wouldn't be managing against us, which would be too soon for this sad soul. As long as that c*** Lennon isn't coming the other way I may one day get over this.

I need to know the whole story before making any kind of judgement, or apportioning blame.
All I know for sure is that it is all incredibly sad, and made worse by our current position in the league.

If he's basically left us when the going got tough, after everything that has been said, to sign for Celtic, then I suspect the Wilder can't do any wrong crowd will blame the Prince and everyone else will probably have a range of dimmer views about him. He'd certainly go down in my estimates.

If he leaves and gets offered the Celtic job, independent of each other, then good luck to him.

I wonder how people would feel if he resigned and takes over Celtic on Sunday morning?

This is the thing for me. It’s not the first time he’s done it either. I’d say it’s an orchestrated attempt by the owner and board to discredit Wilder before the official statement is released.
PA’s statement about McCabe and the plots of land he’s holding us to ransom for was pretty scathing. He doesn’t strike me as someone who would need Jim to go on Twitter oh his behalf. Like Chris Wilder, they are there own man. My experience of Jim is that he tells it as he sees it. Even knowing at the time l was a big supporter of McCabe he discussed a couple of things with me. His comments turned out to be bang on. I see Chris as the same, except the pressure on him is very very different. Whatever happens, l hope Wilder gets back to how he was, running down the touch line to celebrate, spinning ball boys around in the air after goals. (Unless he’s resigned because he’s got the Celtic job, then he can fuck right off.......)

Paddy Power have CW at 5/6 for Celtic job.

Maybe the delay is to do with how much compo Celtic will pay and Chris considering if he can give up Peroni for McEwans or Tennents.

I know of someone backing this at 40 to 1 on Thursday. It was 11 to 4 Friday morning. As I don't gamble I may have got the 11 to 4 on the wrong way round, but it was suggested to me that someone has some inside info. Currently favourite at 6/4.

He certainly has been doing his best to upset the Prince in the last 6 weeks.

Answer to the question, not really, he has got 4 years of credit in the bank. He can come back when he knows how to deal in the international market.

Would your opinion of Chris Wilder change if the Prince appoints Tindall (or ANOTHER) in the next 24 hours?

Wilder has done all the hard yards. He's not been born with a silver spoon in his gob like some royalty. He's had the Sheffield stainless steel version.

Only a few years ago he was not being paid, concerned that there was enough money on his bank card to pay for his petrol.

Old princey won't have had to deal with that.

Chris get as much out of the Prince as you possibly can. You deserve it.

Is this satire? An owner of a club appointing an interim manager as the entire management team has gone is common sense. Who is managing the team? Tea lady?

If Wilder had walked for Celtic I’d hope that the board would have made an official announcement by now. The PR around this doesn’t strike me as that of a club who are losing their manager to another club, it’s of trying to get a credible story that (gullible) fans will believe where Wilder is painted as the bad guy.

People keep saying what the club have done is tied his hands and forced a constructive dismissal. If he has intact engineered his own exit I would be surprised, and it would put a spin on things.

Get that Netflix documentary spun up...

Is it only gullible fans that will believe it? What if he is the bad guy? will all the clever fans really be the gullible fans and the gullible fans be the clever fans?
