Man of the match performance from Ollie
Pity it was for West ham
We were well on top till his now trademark assist for the opponents

I'm afraid he's become
Ollie Nogood

What does really worry me is Wilder seems oblivious to his input

How many threads do we need about Norwood?
As many as to ensure he's dropped. He has become calamatous and costing us game after game. Start of the second half he did another howler but we got away with that one. He's handing gold plated opportunities to teams every game with his horrific wayward passing

He handed a gold plated chance for Mcgoldrick prior to their first goal and he made a right fuck up of it kicking it straight up in the air

Yes he made a bad pass for the first goal but we play a ridiculous system where everyone has bombed on up front we've got 4 players in the box and 4 playing tippy tappy with it on the wing without ever looking like crossing it .. Were going to get exposed, wilders fault 100%

Like any team the golden rule is don't give the ball away in your own half. Norwood has stopped pinging balls forwards and moved on to trying square or backwards passes to players who have gone forward.
Giving it away to the opposition who then outnumber us at the back.
It's suicidal .
Wilder can take full blame for playing a player completely off his game and continually playing Lundstrum who is giving an excellent impression of a rambler carrying a 50k back pack

I'm not claiming to be "in the know"......far from it.....but I don't think Chris picks the team based on the comments and threads on here

Drop him for who, don't say a youngster or someone who would have to play out of position, we've enough square pegs in round holes. Do you really think CW would be picking him if he had a better alternative.

This.

No it's because he can't keep the ball under pressure. As soon as he's closed down he has to release the ball. Same as most of our players really.

Compare to Coutts who would turn and dribble away from pressure

I'd play one of the keepers rather than have him distributing chance after chance to the opposition

I'm beginning to wonder if Wilders aware we have other players. Someone should message him

Norwood's suicide passes are bad but they're normally in the middle of the pitch. The remaining players whose positions are not affected by the suicide ball can't do a thing when the attack comes. All round poor team who are badly coached.

Wilder probably has noone else to play in midfield mate.

If he sticks Bash there, who covers RCB? A problem exacerbated with losing Egan.

If he sticks Ampadu in there, we end up with Enda (I used to be great but have forgotten how to play football) Stevens or rely on Bryan stepping up again, but he is in everyone's bad books after assisting Verner last week.

At least we can rely on the likes of Rodwell to provide cover......

The job is fucked.

When we are at our best, it's because Norwood is pulling the strings. He was doing that a lot last night. Unfortunately his performance was highlighted for the pass for their opener.

Norwood's HT stats are here:

I'd guess that "THE" pass contributed to that 3% on it's own. He then looked a bag of nerves early in the second half.

He is a top, top, Championship player and certainly should be here next season.

I'm not surprised at those stats for H/T, he started the game well and I made the mistake of saying it aloud. It all went to shit from there.

I counted that in the few minutes before he gave the ball away for the goal he hesitated on 2 or 3 occasions, then he set their goal up. He can do it, he has the ability to do it but he chooses not to.

Another thread made solely to ridicule a player. Great work.

This place turns into an absolute cesspit after defeat sometimes. Never thought I’d see such hatred for some players who’ve given us some great memories. No wonder players turn off comments on their social media and look like they aren’t playing for the badge (in Lunny’s case) when as soon as something doesn’t come off they’re ridiculed to the high heavens. There are twats who wish injury upon our own players or want to see them out of a job, it’s pathetic. This isn’t solely aimed at the OP it’s general consensus of this forum since FT last night.

Norwood dribbles alright saw him wiping corner of his mouth with hankie .basham our best dribbler (without hankie)

Following that logic we should have played Norwood in goal when Ramsdale was having his nightmare period.

No blame for Stevens giving him a suicide ball from an attacking position when Norwood has 3 players round him.
No blame for Basham for not making the first tackle on the half way line and making a ridiculous challenge in the box.
Norwood set McGoldick with a great ball which he should have done better with, no mention.
Norwood plays a defence splitting ball to Sharp which is crossed perfectly for McGoldrick to fuck up again.
2-0 up or even 1-0 ,different game.
Seems like someone else is 'oblivious to his input'

No lets put Ollie Nogood ,how grown up, did you get a stiffy when you typed that ?

Give him a break, it's a free country....... well actually not at the moment.......

Did you reply to the wrong person?

You can occasionally admit that your Oli has been shit though.

I try to be balanced about it but I lost the plot a bit the other night, he did the odd good thing earlier in the game but he was woeful after that.

Stevens was shite as well, but Norwood was bad.
