A like for a proper comment in the first reply.

Re, the "hope anyone wins the league but them" comment, the problem is, that applies to approximately 17 teams in the Premier League.

I know, didn't really think it through I guess. But, you know, Fuck 'em............

Absolutely dripping in arrogance, but after watching their last few games I really can't blame them. They good!

For me they are overwhelming favourites to win the title, plenty of goals in them but unlike the others near the top they don't concede and are settled at the back. Like against Man U, we'll need to be brave in possession as well as faultless in defense. Still probably won't be enough, but our bigger game is next Tuesday.

I've thought about that. Take out the obvious hates; DirtyLeeds, CheatinAmmers, Villa gobshites, Citeh cash spunkers, Newton Heath cash spunkers + penalty kings, Chelski, Entitled Arsenal/Liverpool etc etc.

Then remove the secondary hates; Everton (1994 cheats), Leicester (2003 Admin cheats), Baggies (Megson and the Battle of the Lane), Burnley (nasty place), Toon (Massive#2 with bells on), Wolves (that play off final), Palace (that other play off final).

I reckon that leaves Brighton (pig kit), Spurs (I quite like Jose) and S'oton.

I think a chorus of "where were you when you were shit" might be appropriate................
That's what gets me, a lot of them were actually there when they were shit. I'd hate to think that we'd turn into a set of pricks like these lot if we were bunged a few quid. However with some of the preseason comments from Blades after coming 9th last season some of our fan base were already halfway there.

Being objective, considering the positions of each team, the players they have and the players we have, etc etc, none of their comments - posted on their own forum whilst talking amongst themselves - are unreasonable*. A few lacking humility, maybe, but what reason do they have to be humble with regards to us? It's up to us to give them reason to respect us, it has to be earnt, not given.

*apart from this one: We have taught so much to the premier league

The one that raised a smile was:

“Sheffield are quite fortunate they had such an easy midweek fixture. Allows them to rest up and conserve energy before playing us this weekend”

I'll even let them get away with a 'Sheffield".

It's funny how most other views from other top sides don't all come across as utter pricks.... Except for these lot

Anyone remember Man City in the old pre-loadsamoney days, when their fans were a decent bunch? They've morphed into a right set of entitled arrogant cunts. It's got nothing to do with building teams, it's all about throwing vast amounts of Emirati oil money at whichever players and managers they want. If they'd not had the money launched at them then where would they be? Farting around with the rest of us.

You can actually spot the few genuine Man City fans in there, confident but reasonable and acknowledge that we won't be easy.
Compare them to the arrogant majority of fanboys who probably need to look up Maine Road on Wikipedia.

Hope we shithouse the flashy cunts 1-0, in the worst game the latter bunch have ever seen.

I think it's all relative isn't it?

Yes this season has been pretty abject so far. But when you were around for the likes of the Billy McEwan era, and were suckled on the teat of the Martin Peters era, we've nowhere near hit bottom trust me.

So yeah, we can moan and bitch all we like, but when the (almost) inevitable axe falls, the silly fuckers like me come back for more. It's what we've always done, and will always do.

You have a point I suppose. Even if we were in City's position though I'd expect a major fuck up around the next bend and would probably keep my powder dry. They've all forgot about the years of shite now but there's very little chance of it returning at City with the investment locally and globally.

Man City are the football embodiment of new money, BMW on finance, flashy wankers. The kind of pricks who push in-front at the bar and order a bottle of Moet for their “VIP” booth, even though their favourite drink is Stella

This is amazing. I love the "we"

"We have taught so much to the premier league. So many teams now try to adopt our style but dont have Pep to guide them beyond the goalkeeper passing to a defender."

Seriously, that's the best comment I've ever seen. Haven't they spent over £1bn on players? 😂😂😂😂

You said it yourself, look at the expectation from our fans that we shouldn't be looking at relegation and the almost immediate calls for sacking Wilder, the derogatory comments towards players, look how the support has evaporated from some quarters, how players are talked about in terms of purchase price. And this is just our 2nd season back. Imagine what this forum would be like with a prolonged stay, regular success at the top and more money than a money tree fertilised with money dung. We're quick to judge others, but I reckon we'd be the same.
