...that have been destroyed in our poor run, or new ones you now have following our win against Newcastle.

I've gone from wearing SUFC socks on a match day, to not wearing them, to wearing them the day before, to the day after... to the Monday after... to... think I exhausted every variation!

Of course this is utterly insane, but I reckon I wasn't the only one..?

You mean you've actually been taking them off?

Shame on you, you jinx!

:D :D :D :D

We've been in our current house for 4 years always had a picture of BDTBL hung on the landing up until just after the 1st lockdown.Anyway we did a loft conversion and decorated the hallway and upstairs, only got around to putting the picture back up last week along with other memorabilia- strange but true!

Had one of them stainless steel Blades badges close season, put it on garden fence. Ragged it back and lobbed it in a dark corner of the garage.

My brother had a lucky Blades mug that he used all through the Wilder era with miraculous results. On the morning of the Project Restart game against Leicester he knocked it off his bedside table and smashed it. The rest is history.

For my birthday in October, my father-in-law wanted to get me the new home shirt but couldn't work out the club shop website so had my wife do it and he sent her the money. I didn't realize at the time but she also bought me a Wilder mug and decided to wait to give it to me at Christmas. She almost didn't wrap it because she was worried he was on the verge of getting sacked! Anyway, she did, and I've used it for my morning coffee twice: Saturday morning and yesterday morning...

I’m a bit worried about this. I’ve been in hospital for the two last matches (bike crash, bit of a brain haemorrhage, nowt serious) which we have of course won. If I’m out before Sunday and we loyse is it my fault?
Get thee sen back in on Sunday. 🤔
Volunteer Visitor, for patients who have no one to visit them. :)
Can listen to match on Hospital Radio.😁
Can see season out and ensure PL status.☺️
Hope you are recovering well, UTB.

I'm 68 years old and always under the influence of thinking "if I do this or wear this we might win" knowing full well it won't make a bit of difference. Well Tuesday morning I saw my rarely worn and previously unwashed United jumper (I find it too warm to wear) in the wardrobe and thought, I'll stick it in with the washing it might bring us luck. Jumper duly washed and look what happened! But do I wash it before every match now or has it broken our run?

I don't have superstitions but often look out for omens on a match day. Like if I happen to notice an indirect reference to the opposition somewhere before the match that's not a good sign. But spotting an old Woodbine sign in a pub on an away day is usually very promising! Never remember to actually assess whether the omen comes true or not though...

Listened to every one of Wilders pre match press conferences this season. Didn’t get chance to listen to the Bristol one so didn’t listen to the Newcastle one either and hey presto I think I’ve cracked the key to our success.

The iPad will be hidden well away this weekend

During the Newcastle game, got through a good few bottles of Doom Bar bought at Christmas for family that never ended up coming round. Never tried the stuff. Early in the second half I noticed it was brewed by Sharps Brewery.... the rest is history. New tradition is born.

Mine used to be the colour of my tooth brush, it had to be red.
But now I don't have any teeth I'm not that bothered.......... :tumbleweed:
