You wouldnt believe we won today would you given the negativity on here today, glad this is a more positive thread.

Yes it was bristol rovers, yes it was the fa cup, but we have to take the positives from something we havent seen for a while.

We won, we scored 3 goals, attacking football, Burke scores and finally that 100th win for Wilder.

It's a fantastic achievement and I am delighted for Chris, Knilly and Matt Prestridge too.

Perhaps more importantly though, I sincerely hope this has given the team's confidence a big lift. Yes it was a league 1 team and yes our defending from set pieces continues to be exposed, but we scored a few goals, one of which was beautifully worked and just like our old selves.

Hopefully Burke has got over his yips in front of goal now too. It's a shame the one that clipped the post didn't go in, but fair play to him for taking the 1 on 1, as they are the hardest to get right and I can see him being in that situation many more times this season. I do think this lad will be the game changer if he can keep finishing like that.
