I was depressed after the meek display against Southampton. Lots of green shoots, and signs of life v Manure, including 2 goals, and thought the attitude was better. Disappointed we lost on Thursday but felt we had a go, and turned a corner.

Let's see what today brings, but I think we can do it, bag our first win, and look to get to 12 points which for me is the primary objective at the moment.
 
We have thrown away so many points from games we should have got something from this season it just has to end. I don't expect us to get a lot from top 6 teams if we do it's a bonus, we are capable of getting results from the bottom half teams for sure. We should have taken more points against Villa, Leeds, Fulham, West Brom, Arsenal and Leicester and good performances against Liverpool and Man U no reason at all that we can't get summat at Brighton only lack of confidence. I do get the feeling a win is coming soon.
 
I agree with the OP. Have the same ‘feeling’. The last time I had it, it was against Fulham, so my radar is probably off.
 
Genuinely still look forward to match days. I fancy our chances of a result today. Couldn’t give a cunt about the “were shit, wilders wank and I told you so” brigade. Everyone knows how bad it’s been we’ve all watched it for the last year. People are allowed to wake up and be positive about getting a result.
 
I dared to think we’d win the last 2, that didn’t happen so I’m sticking with a firm ‘no’ today. We don’t have the required bollocks to win a game.

I fancy us today as well. So pissed off with negative fans. We would be in league 1 if Wilder hadn't turned up. Play mcgoldrick as a 10 and 2 speed merchants up front
 
Depends whether Wilder is brave enough. I don’t think we’re good enough to defend with any conviction so might as well have a fucking go.

I'd love to see us keep a clean sheet for once, anything else is a bonus.
 
I'd like to see the cam with mousset and brewster starting and bring Burke on when mousset tires and sharp if brewster tires I'd rather those 2 start together and build on the chemistry when they are fresh rather than brewster being knackered when mousset comes on tbh
 
For the 10 position in defense the 2 cm could split wider and didsy drop into the middle of cm to keep defensive stability so 3-4-1-2 in attack and 3-5-2 in defense best of both worlds

If didsy tires later on move fleck into cam and put osborn on lcm

All depends who Wilder starts with up front. Any chance he starts with Burke with either Brewster or Mousset and McGoldrick in No: 10 role just behind front 2 then we will have a far better chance of getting a win. How well it worked second half on on Thursday against Man Utd

He has to be brave and have a go IMO, he knows we need 3 points. draws are not enough against the teams at the bottom around you when you need 3 wins just to catch up 17th. 3 point's is a must Today IMO for us to still have any kind of chance of survival.
