We’re in the Premier League. Yes We’ve made a terrible start but it’s far from over yet. That’s only the second time we’ve not been in the game.

League One, when the stadiums were terrible, our team was full of mercenaries and has-beens, when it was dire to watch, when another relegation could have put us in administration, when going was a complete chore and we were well below our level, was a lot worse. Adkins, Hammond, Sammon, Wooldford. Gillingham, Colchester and Shrewsbury turning us over.

Question the manager, tactics, decisions by all means, but please stop saying this is the worst team you’ve ever seen in the red and white.

It just doesn’t sound sensible after the same players just delivered the best season most of us have ever seen.

Which other games do you think we could have won?

If you’ve only supported the team since 2019, then this is the worst team you’ve ever seen

My hope is that now we are pretty much down - the players start to play with some freedom.

we are playing crap as it is, how much worse can it get? The results certainly can’t get any worse. Just go out and have fun - it’s not like the fans are in the stadium to boo or anything. Do some flicks or tricks, try and actually beat a man, take a shot.

With mcburnie out - not a slight on him - he’s been no worse than anyone else. We might try not jumping the ball 70 yards, maybe we might see some pace in the side. We might actually threaten.

It's not the worst Blades team we've ever seen in terms of ability, obviously.

But it's the worst to watch. We've lost 11 out of 12. Lol.

11 defeats out of 12 isn’t a catastrophe. You got a point at home against fellow relegation candidates Fulham with a late penalty. . Get some perspective. And you’ve scored 5 goals as well. Look on the bright side.

Yes I heard this a lot in shoutbox today. I can only think a lot of people around here aren't that old. I still shudder at relegation to the 4th in 1981 and the number of atrocious sides we've had since then.
That was the first season my mum let me go by myself (with a mate). I saw grown men on the kop proper reuwring. Still love em, from ‘skin him mo’ to bob Booker and beyond i will love them!! It is, what it is people, just suck it up 🤷🏻‍♀️⚔️👊🏻

It isn't the worst its been but the performance today was on par with some of the shit served up in League 1. Very rare since Wilder has been here have we looked so wet behind the ears on the pitch. His interview I was expecting him to highlight that but instead he starts to bullshit us and tell us how we were in the game for the first 30 to 35 minutes.

Disappointing to see this squad react like this. I thought we had a squad that had some fucking balls at least if nothing else. They can be thankful our fans are not there because many would have booed that performance.

Yes.

The start of the 2013-14 season under David Weir was much worse.

We were staring League Two in the face.
It’s all relative though, isn’t it? We performed so well last year and then it went to “Wilder best to get us promoted after our inevitable relegation” and now?

Seen a few online saying it’s worse than Adkins. Those people need to get fucking real. If it really feels worse to be bottom of the premier league than plodding around in league one closer to relegation than automatic promotion then go back to supporting Chelsea or Liverpool. Starting to think it’s not even a case of short memories, just a part time attitude of some fans who came crawling back out after promotion.

We have spent a fortune since getting into the Pl but in reality it's peanuts really. Squad filled with championship players with potential can only lead one way. We just don't belong in the PL, we just don't have the readies. Obvious already that Berge and Brewsters careers will stall until they move on. The one thing I didn't expect was for one of Chris's sides to go down with barely a whimper. Just cannot see where the next point will come from.

At this rate the momentum will take us back to all the bad times people use to excuse the present. I'm still being optimistic in the sense that Wilder and the squad will do fucking something and go back to letting us have something to be proud of (in the champ next season) but this optimism is really starting to fucking wane.

I’m not bothered whether it’s the worst or not, what we are currently witnessing is embarrassing, it’s nothing like the Blades we’ve all been brought up on, we at the very least normally have a fight in us, we currently haven’t got a fight in us from top to bottom, as I said, embarrassing and the players and management need to know this shambles is not acceptable.

We’re currently on course to be the laughing stock of the whole football world, San fucking Marino would beat us right now.

Excellent point CKLM and that is the truth. because its not about the money you get for being in the Premier league you really need to times it by ten to have any real chance and we just don't have that sort of money. For example Gareth Bale cant get into the Spurs side...…………………..what? And I think that Norwich knew this last year so dint gamble...…………..were they right ...only time will tell!!! But I'll tell you one thing they are a seriously wealthy Championship club now!!!
