Just to clarify I have never said that Birch named SOD. You are totally wrong if you are talking about me. I have said however on countless occassions that it was obviously SOD he was talking about, which is a perfectly rational statement.

I'm certainly chuckling a this new obsession over the fact we're announcing the manager a full two days ahead of schedule, which of course the announcement said was an absolutely strict timeline that under no circumstances could change. How terrible of the club to treat us like mugs like this.

Read my posts. The ones where I question many things that have gone on under McCabe. Unless you are so much in love with yourself and your own moaning that nobody else's criticisms are valid. I don't swear by it all, I just don't take great delight in criticising everything that comes out of the Lane regardless, unlike your good self.

I have stated many times that things under McCabe are far from perfect. What I don't have is the constant desire to pick holes in every little thing United do. You have the relentless need to attack what the club does. If they do something, you attack. If they don't, you attack. Every little thing is slaughtered. You only seem to stop telling everyone just how correct you are all the time for yet another snidey comment about how United get things wrong. Manager appointment put off? Attack. Manager appointment brought forward? Attack.

Every United supporter can see that all is not right at Bramall Lane. The difference is that moast don't take great delight in attacking them regardless. Most Blades don't get a warm fuzzy glow inside from constanyl criticising the club over every single thing they do.

What you need to do, young man, is take a deep breath, stop chuckling and kissing your reflection, get an adult to help you to count to ten, and then think about whether your next critique is just more bile for the sake of bile, because a lot of the time you don't like anything the club says or does. You don't have to like it all, and it's likely that there isn't any Blade who does, but you seem to hate everything. Late? Attack. Early? Attack.

It's got to be a stuck record lenbit. And a very poor one at that.

Why didn't any of our links with foreign clubs amount to anything positive for United? Chengdu got us Hao Haidong and some dragon dancers and a chance to buy Chengdu shirts.

What about the links with Santos/Inter/Wollabrawonga Wanderers/Fulchester United? What has come from them, apart from trips to somewhere sunny when it's cold in Sheffield or Brussels?

Will season ticket prices be reduced next season considering the economic downturn?

Will whoever is responsible for mailshots/postcards/emails advertising discount pricing actually get there fingers out so that people are aware of the offers at least two weeks before the game, rather than two days?

Will someone armed with a sweeping brush do more than a cursory wave around of it to clean the Kop and surrounding areas? (I'm unaware of the cleanliness of the rest of the ground - I sit on the Kop.) And what price a man to remove the now redundant sauce station crap? Half an hour with a screwdriver should do it.

Why do we insist on swapping all shirts every season? Forego the small revenue from regular kit changes, just swap them every two years, alternating like they used to.

Why, considering the fortunes available to Kevin McCabe, does he seem determined to run United on the cheap? I know he is in no way expected to piss all his money away, but there have been many false economies, starting with flogging Beattie when we had a half-decent chance of promotion. I don't want to skint him, but he's spent United's money on some weird shit when all he had to spend it on was footballers and the ground.

What would he like his legacy to be? Because at the moment it looks like being one season in the big time and a lot of fannying.

I could ask McCabe loads of questions, some serious and some not so serious.

If I was a shareholder I would have asked them at the AGM. I'm not, but if I was I would have made him feel very uncomfortable rather that bottling it for the flimsiest of reasons.
