We've rarely looked the same since after lockdown tbh despite still putting in 3 or 4 good performances last season and 1 or 2 this.

Difficult decision. If we go down with no fight then who's to say that we will suddenly turn it round and come back up?

If this kind of form carries on it could easily knock on into the championship if we get relegated, players not looking up for it and no fight or desire in general,does not bode well.

I don't think anymore money will be made available in January and the loan market will be the only additions I assume.
So many pigs infiltrating this site right now calling for CW to be sacked. Should they themselves manage to keep up and we get relegated, they will be absolutely shitting themselves knowing we have some proven top quality champ players and two or three premier players such as JOC and Basham with a top manager of the calibre of Wilder. How can a negative style Pulis and the Chancer compete with that? They know we would be favourites to go straight back up.
Anyway, we're not relegated yet? Still lots of points to play for.

On paper we should be in a good position in the Champ next season with the nucleus of the squad and our financial position but I wouldnt underestimate how hard it could be to turn around this.

The only problem I foresee, and I rate Wilder highly, is what happens if the current run continues until the end of the season. The reason being that it won't be possible to completely shift the current squad in the Championship next term, and the best chance of regaining promotion is doing it ASAP. The only way to draw a line under this season realistically would be to part company with Wilder. If he goes now, and things don't improve this season and the club still goes down, then the new man would also be damaged goods next season. So if Wilder is to go then it's probably best at the end of this season, assuming the club is relegated..

If we do go down i would much rather have Wilder and Knill in our dugout then in the dugout of another club. We have had many years of seeing poor managerial appointments and I have no faith that we would suddenly replace Wilder with a better manager.

All because someone believes Wilder should be sacked ( and with 1 point in 14 games and 6 wins this year his position must be questioned) why must they be a pig ? Just because they dont agree with these that want him to stay?

I don’t think wilder should go ... this team has been created by him and is greater than the sum of its parts when its firing, so I don’t think another manager comes in and gets more out of them so firing is pointless ...but that interview after the game makes me think he doesn’t have the answers and as soon as the prince believes that unfortunately I think that’s it
