The last two games i've seen have been Barnsley (away) and Hull (home).

Two games, one common style of play - panic football, get it, get rid.

Ok so Carver is only the caretaker, but why aren't we trying to keep the ball? Don't say its the players, because when Speed's reign started, they were looking to keep the ball more.

Whoever comes in has to address the inability that we have to keep the ball.

I love it when we get throw-ins and go through a charade of pretending we're going to keep possession when we always give it to the oppo.
We shouldn't bother wasting time and instead just throw the ball back to the other team rather than pretending we have a clue what we're doing.

Based on what?

I take your point. Playing style debates often turns into “playing football the right way” and “hoofball”, which is so simplistic. If Adams is a Blackwell clone I wouldn’t have him, but I’d need to study him, his signings and teams a lot more before putting him in that category.

>Football is all about results
see.. i don't buy into that.. perhaps i'm weird or something.. i think there is more to it than that and that is what makes it what it is

If we win with hoof, then so be it. Football is all about results, and right now, that's exactly what we need!!

What a philosophy of despair! Why must we be the only club in the land prohibited from playing proper football? Since when has Hoof guaranteed results?

does it matter what style we play has long has we get results at the minute.

And when that minute is over and we're still hoofing our way to continued mediocrity in three years time?

Whos too say we will or wont its all ifs and buts has is the way with football. In my opinion the biggiest problem united have is McCabe and his lack of intrest in uniteds future. With McCabe cutting nearly all ties with his overseas football ventures its obvious he wants out of the game but we will be stuck with this plank until some major investor takes over and surely we stand better chance of major investment being in this league then we do in league 1
