Upset players.

This is not an excuse thread, nor is it a scapegoat one, but are our players happy and do they have the team spirit that has got us this far?

Ramsdale - Obviously wanted to come back, loves the club but recently shared a post about a player quitting die to criticism. I also saw a player telling him to keep his chin up in the week.

Egan- Co-Captain, loved by the fans and Wilder but has lost his main partner and his clean sheets.

Bash, United through and through but can't be happy that he is pulled off everytime we go 4-4-2

Robinson - Given his chance. Dropped. Replaced by a left winger.

Enda- out of form and now out of position.

George - looks frustrated albeit as good as ever.

Fleck- out of form, injured and dropped in his las few games.

Osborn- used as a utility man that gets dropped or pulled off regardless of his performance it seems.

Norwood - benched

Berge- asked to do too much? Unhappy with his partners in midfield maybe?

Lunny- wants out.

Burke - worked his bollocks off, dropped as soon as our other strikers returned.

Moose - not mentally right at the end of last season.

McBurnie and McGoldrick- In and out of the team constantly.

Brewster- already looks frustrated, hopefully thats more at his own performance rather than the whole situation.

Obviously wins encourage confidence and enjoyment but are we at a risk of upsetting too many of them? I won't ever use the term losing the dressing room when it comes to Wilder because getting average players to run through a wall for him is his M.O but are all the squad still 100% happy and committed?

We’ve come off the back of 4 years continual success having played some of the best football I’ve seen in my 40 years of going to the Lane. Yes the start to this has been disappointing, but we’re 8 games in. Having spent 6 years in L1 watching cretins like Hammond, Sammon and Woolford stealing a living, I don’t feel like I’ve got a great deal to be upset about with the current side. I’m not sure what your expectations were/are? Despite the money spent this summer, we must still have the most cheaply assembled squad in the division. I’m generally pretty positive but repeating last season was going to be near the enough impossible with our budget. If you’re looking for a European challenge or top 10 finish every season I fear that you may supporting the wrong club.

No mate, I don't support the wrong club, I support the Blades, always have (since the 70's) and always will. I have seen the rubbish as you state but today more than any other time I won't accept the defeatest attitude and sulking which seems to be going on. I have loved every minute of the last few seasons but now i'm seeing under performing players and worse still a lack of 100% attitude. The manager seems a little lost right now and is sending out the wrong messages via interviews. They need to snap out of it quick, they are financially secure for life yet those that devote their lives to supporting them are not and more so due to the pandemic. Lundstram makes my blood boil, he needs to try signing onto UC then he will feel privelidged.

McBurnie & McGoldrick I think have only been out of the side due to illness or injury.

Egan probably is missing O'Connell any side would miss arguably their best defender and probably Utds biggest mistake not get a replacement in.

Brewster is young and to be fair to the lad we haven't exactly created alot for him and he's also played his first games for us against top 6 clubs, so I can see his frustration hopefully in the next few games that changes.

Edna I Don't think has been too bad, admittedly he's not hit the hits of last season yet. He needs moving back to left back though.

Fleck again not hit the standard of last season maybe the injury was hampering him. Hopefully he'll come back better.

Mousset we will have to wait and see, he looks happy enough on the promotional videos.

Ramsdale has made mistakes and I hope he's learning from them, all Goalkeeper's make mistakes even Henderson and don't forget he was playing in front of a stronger defence. Ramsdale is still young for a Goalkeeper but he is England's U21 keeper so can't be that bad.

Basham is Basham he'll be hurting but he will be out giving 100% next game. He's probably the one player that's come closest to last seasons standards.

I have said before I hate international breaks but this one might have come at the right time for us.
Time to forget the Chelsea game work on a few things, Fleck might be back and games coming up against sides that we should feel we can get something out of.
